Hello all
I might be upgrading to 18" wheels on 235/40/18 tires (getting a great deal)
I was wondering if these tires would rub (or cause any issues) with Eibach Pro-Kit springs.
Thanks

No, you will not rub, but it mainly depends on the offset of the wheels you get. Stick with something +45 and higher and you'll be fine.

Im guessing that 245/40 tires wouldnt be a good idea

Well if the wheel is a high enough offset it can be done. I've seen as wide as a 265 on a 7th gen, but that would most definitley require some fender modification like rolling and possibly pulling them out.
235/40/18s are the closest to the stock 17" tire size (diameter-wise) out of any 18" size tire. With a 245 the diameter of the tire is about 0.5" larger meaning it will throw your speedometer and odometer off, not a huge amount, but enough where it's not worth the extra 0.4" of tread width IMO. I would stick with 235s personally.

You coupe guys have it much easier with regard to tire size, particularly the rears.
