In the end, you wont regret buyin it. Your money was well spent.
I have that for my 2003 i4 coupe, it's awesome.
install was cake, have fun.
kenshin 04-01-2009, 05:57 PM it's one noisy exhaust, could lead to more unwanted attention from the cops = tickets= less money in ur pocket. and if u're one a long freeway drive , it's going to annoy the crap out of ur ears.

Lets be honest here, it's a fart can. It will make the car sound like a kazoo.
If I decide to do an exhaust, I'll wait until the warranty is up and just buy Borla universal parts. It's a shame there is no kit for an I-4 Accord, but from the cat back they just aren't that complex.

I take it you have not heard an EVO2 exhaust system in person. They are not at all like can exhausts, there is no raspiness and actually have a nice low tone. At least on the six. Personally I built from scratch on my V6 sedan with a custom J-Pipe, 2.5 center into a merge collector going into 2.25 polished oval race series magnaflows. Sounds great with the F5 CAI with the KN filter on it. Very basso profundo.

it's noisier than stock, but I have yet to pull a cop with it. if it's too loud then your stereo aint loud enough:lmao:

I have not. But where I live, whenever I think of Greddy and Honda and see one of those types of cans at the end, I automatically assume it sounds like a kazoo. If it does not, my mistake. The only Hondas around here that are not stock are the "boy-racer rice rocket" kind. I apologize for the stereotype.
stinkysab 04-02-2009, 12:54 PM When adding this exhaust system, will it decrease the mpg? or stay the same?
decrease b/c you'll keep punching it

You know what they say when you assume

The poster did not mention what exhaust that is but one of the posters mentioned that it's the Greddy Evo2. A friend of mine in FL has that same exhaust on his car minus CAI and it sounds nowhere near as loud. His sounds very refined but I almost wish it was louder, just like the one in the video. Perhaps it's the mic on the camera that's making it louder. :dunno:

Look at his other vids... I think he said it has an intake and something else
stinkysab 04-02-2009, 04:25 PM Just installed the greddy evo 2 exhaust system. Sounds F***ing Awesome.

+1. :lmao: If I am light on the gas, and that's a big if, my mpg increased a little with an aftermarket exhaust. However, the tone is just too tempting at times.

Why not get it as well? Something holding you back?
Aceman196 04-03-2009, 09:41 AM Why not get it as well? Something holding you back?
Holding out until the economy gets better. Plus I have other things to pay for now like college fees
Plus I have the V6 so it cost twice as much as yours
kenshin 04-03-2009, 11:34 AM no exhaust is worth 500 $ or more, just a scam, no exhaust will add more 5hp anyway. been there ,done that, and none of those worth the money they cost. u want more power, u have to spend big. turbo and super charger will get u more hp which u can actually feel. exhaust, intake, don't really do nothing much maybe 5hp the most.
03Accord EX-L 04-03-2009, 12:51 PM Actually exhausts can help A LOT depending on the car... granted the stock Accord Exhaust is pretty good but to say you will only get 5hp....I think you need to go look at some dynos my man. But for other cars exhausts can add close to 15hp but normally those are stock F/I cars or a car with a poorly designed exhaust

Only if you like making your car sound like a lawnmower.

The EVO 2 is the best sounding next to the Comptech

Have you actually heard the EVO 2 or a lawnmower?
hillstones 04-04-2009, 08:53 AM Have you actually heard the EVO 2 or a lawnmower?
Yes I have. I mow my own lawn and I have heard an EVO2. Neither of them sound appealing. Some think its cool, some don't. In Los Angeles, I have never seen an Accord modified with an exhaust. Typically the teenagers do it to their Civics, Corollas, Mazdas, Subarus, etc. It is pretty sad because they think their car goes faster when it is louder, but they don't. It is funny seeing other cars pass them on the streets, and funnier when the exhaust has burned the paint on their bumper cover. They think they look cool, but they are always driving around...alone. Then they turn on their stereos and all you hear are the body panels rattling. I would be more impressed with a clean sounding stereo (without the rattling), instead of an exhaust pipe.

well, sounds like you would LOVE mine. i dont have a single rattle and i have not even sound dampened my car. (yet) haha. i am looking to get an exhaust in the future though and the EVO2 sounds really good.
ChilliBang 04-04-2009, 10:58 AM you can't hear the actual exhaust note from these youtube videos. it's just not the same. i have not seen a single v6 accord with modified exhaust system in person so i don't know what i'd like. i hear borla sounds real good in person but on videos you can't hear shit!
Aceman196 04-04-2009, 01:21 PM I have seen a V6 with Evo2 and it sounded amazing.
To the guy looking down on people because they change their mufflers why? This muffler is top of the line. It is not ricey at all. To compare it to a lawnmower proves you know nothing.
