Hi,
I have Honda Accord SE 2000 Sedan. The total mileage on this right now is 73885. Bought it in Jan 2000.
I have done all maintenances not missing a single one.
For the past 1 week, whenever I start my car, I was feeling a light jump start during D4 normal driving. From today, the jump has increased to 4-5 times on every start (when I give gas, the sound of the engine is increasing but the vechile is jumping 4-5 times and also moves slowly). After jumping 5 times, the car runs OK. Also, I'm seeing a yellow indicator turning on from today with a word "CHECK" inside it (don't know what the indicator mean) in the dashboard (below the rpm section on my dashboard). Changing to D3/D2 does no help.
Anonyingly, I misplaced my owner's manual and still searching for it.
I did my oil change @72, 000 miles and the Honda service center (my dealer) told me that I'm due for a major service @75,000 miles.
I scared to stop and start but can't avoid it in lights, my destination etc...
Any answers to what exactly is this is greatly appreciated.
Rgds,
