Agreed. I got my OEM foglights from a Honda dealer that sold them on eBay (I had to call the dealership after I won the auction to give them my credit card number). I paid $244.99 shipped.

That auction is pretty new, so I doubt that the kit will be won for the current price, but it'll definitely be cheaper than getting them directly through a local dealer.

Would those fit on an 04 ? the auction says 07 but since it involves cutting the bumper, I'd like to make sure :)

No. The foglight kit in that auction is for the 2006 and 2007 Accord sedan. It will not work in any other year/model Accord.

The biggest difference is that the mounting brackets are different as well as the foglight trim. This is because the front bumpers on the 2006 and 2007 Accord sedan is different.

For your Accord, you would want to get a kit for a 2003-2005 Accord (coupe or sedan depending on what you have).

While it's true that it's $64 (ish) more than what you paid, it's still much lower than what I'd pay if I went through a local dealer. When I was looking for mine (last year), that was the best price I could find.

I think the question was whether the wiring will work on an 04, since for the 03-05 sedan guys, we have to cut our bumpers anyway, so i doubt he cares about the fitment points. Besides there's a handful that did the inspire fog-lights on the 03-05 bumpers.

Anyway, if you buy a foglight kit for the 03-05 Accord, it contains templates to help you cut the bumper to fit the foglight trim. The kit for the 06-07 Accord does not contain any templates because you don't need to cut holes into the bumper on those models. Even if you did get the templates from the 03-05 kit, they would still need to be modified as the trim is different in the 06-07 kit.

Which year Inspire are you referring to? The 4th gen Honda Inspire is the same vehicle as the 7th gen Accord, so foglight kits are interchangeable.

Yes, you can try to install the kit onto the older Accords... you can just about install anything onto any car with enough work.

Is there not a bumper cover for the 4 doors that has fog light holes cut already?

I found them for coupes, not sedans....what's the big diff between the two?

Depends on which 7th gen Accord you're talking about. The '06-'07 Accord sedans had the foglight holes molded into the bumper, but the '03-05 Accord sedans required the bumper to be cut. All 7th gen Accord coupes had the foglight holes already molded into the bumper.

The foglights for the coupe are shaped differently than the sedan. You should be able to find OEM foglights on eBay for sedans. I've seen auctions many times and that's where I got mine.

For 03-05 owners:

If you prefer the 06-07 foglight kit you may install it in your accords, but first you have to replace the front bumper with a 06-07 one. The grill and emblem also have to be replaced because the old ones wont fit !!

I know it's a little bit costly, but believe me it will give your rides a much better look :thmsup:

The foglights themselves are round... the trim that they fit into has a rectangular shape.

The Accord in that link is the Australian Accord, which is similar to the US Accord, but the standard OEM foglights in the US do not look like that... they have black trim around them. This is what they look like...
