I got my switchblade TL key yesterday. Hopefully I get the the dealer tomorrow and they offer to program and cut it for free, haha, I wish. It looks pretty sweet though. Anyone here know how to replace the back Acura logo with the Honda logo?

Don't know about the logo replacement but, I got mine cut and programed for free!! HA!

I hope they do mine for free...did you just go to a dealer and ask and they said it would be free?

so i called around...some places claim they can't do it and others say it will be free to cut but between $50-$80 to program. Is programming easy that I can do it or does it need to be done by Honda? Thanks.

Ask if their machine can match a key you already own. If it can then they can cut it regardless if it's an Acura switchblade blank or a Honda blank. Your Honda dealership should be able to program your TL key. As long as they can program a Honda key, they will be able to do an Acura key whether they know it or not. You will need to bring your car in though.

I have done this so don't pay any attention to what the people at the dealership will tell you. They don't know any better...
