Ok guys need some quick advice, since we just moved into our new place money is tight. Here are the three things that she would be interested in (which one would you choose?!?)

1. Rollerblades (Rollerblade makes a skate called the Wing 50, pretty upscale girly looking) which would come in handy since we moved down the street from a nice park with a paved bike trail. :wave:

2. A new hair straightener (hers just broke a day ago and we all know that woman can't live w/o them) :lmao:

3. Supertooth/Supertooth lite because of her inability to drive and talk on the phone w/o eventually getting a ticket .. The supertooth lite looks cool b/c its a white version. :yes:

All are close to around $100, any other suggestion are welcome but be nice i have about a weeks time to get it here :nuts:

Con: might be too utilitarian/common-sense, not enough nostalgia/bling/materiel`... :(

Con: why not get her some proverbial "snow-tires" while you're at it... :paranoid:

Con: in reality an over-priced novelty relative to other hands-free offerings which do the same thing, but are literally free or chump-change after manufacturer rebates (currently)... :)

Personally, I say give it further thought! A c-note can get something good/lasting/desirable. . .

How'about a really nice/exclusive perfume (shop online vs. high-end dept' store) & a trendy/high-quality piece of cosmetic jewelry (gawk over some fashion magz' or ask your/her gal-pals for insights)?

I would love to get her something more personalized but on the tight budget and the fact that is what she did with me (asked me what i wanted) and got it for me no questions asked I wanna stick to something at least i know she will like ...

This is a girl who has just about every perfume and clothing/accessory all bought prior to us moving in (I call it the Lisa Collection :lmao:)

I figured something practical yet ease of use and girly.
So other than the supertooth what is a better unit you would suggest?

Oh and the snow tires they are on back order until next winter (triple treads or F1's ftw) :naughty:

Actually the perfect gift (if her 09 Accord wasn't a lease) would be a new V6 bumper with fogs (she has an i4) and loves the lip and fogs ... oh well ..

This is a pretty good idea, but do you have a set? I would say if you don't have a set than I'd pass b/c if you can't enjoy this together (it is a great way to spend a nice evening) than it is probably something she won't use much on her own.

I understand you want to get her something she needs since funds are limited. I would vote for the blades or the hair deally....that's my vote, but I have an addition.

Since you have a GF...you already know this, but make sure to put some thought into that card. Make sure to say something meaningful in there. As well....maybe send some flowers since you are getting her something that is practical.

Lastly, if you really want to impress, take some time and think about the things she asks you to do that you really don't like or are a lot of work. Put together something that looks like a coupon book and make each coupon something that she can "trade in" and get you to do! You can add some fun ones in there for your self to :naughty:

Best thing is....it doesn't cost any money. Massage, walk in the park, go blading together, etc.....you get the drift. The thought is more important than the gift.

Yeah blades for the win i think bc I too have a set and that's why we haven't had the time to enjoy them together.

But on the flip side she has a great relationship with my mother and i think that she may want to get her something as well so maybe i can do a 2 peice package (like blades and the straightener and the coupons for later) :naughty:

I actually went for the blades, got her some sweet Rollerblade Wing 10's since the Wing 50's were 07 skates as I found out with the limited availability.

I also went for the Bluant Supertooth lite in White, ah it was an impulse buy i tell ya (amazon had it for dam cheap) :nuts:

Went over the C-Note but hey once a year right :paranoid:
