The info was available on hondapreview.com but was taken down shortly after along with all other information on the MY06 Civic & Accord (new colors, 6MT in Accord EX V6 sedan, etc.).

New Features:

Coupe and Sedan

DX - Power Windows, 15" wheels, daytime running lights, front, front-side, and curtain airbags, ABS.

LX (adds to DX) - Body-Colored mirrors and door handles, 16" wheels, keyless entry, 160-watt audio system with MP3/WMA playback.

EX (adds to LX) - 16" Alloy Wheels, steering wheel mounted audio controls, MP3 auxiliary jack, XM ready head unit, and available satellite navigation system with voice recognition.

Hybrid - many EX features including satellite navigation option. Increased styling differentiation from the standard sedans.

So will the MY06 Accord get:

160-watt audio system with MP3/WMA playback ? PLEASE HONDA
MP3 auxiliary jack ? That would be nice.

Damn I was hoping they wouldn't put DRLs.

Many reasons, but primarily because they waste electricity and burn out headlamps quicker.

or, you could have a dedicated set of them..... nothing big, but big enough to where you can notice them......

i guess they'll have an indicator light for that too, huh??? :lmao:

LED DRL's in the bumper or something like truck marker lights would be fine since they won't burn out and are not aimed directly into your eye. But I have a problem with high beam DRL's like the one Honda and I think Toyota is using. I also don't see the point of HID DRL's. Some of the HID's on MB's and the like are already blinding, why have the blinding during the daytime.

Turn signal DRL's are dangerous too. Imagine when one light burns out and the other driver thinks you have a malfunctioning turn signal.

I am not completely opposed to DRL's, I just wish manufacturers would use a bit more common sense and not just bow to consumer demand because they want to save 10 bucks on their insurance premiums.

The volvo I'm driving right now has the most idiotic DRLs. They turn on the headlights and tail lights at full brightness. The only difference between headlights "on" and "off" is that you can't turn on high beams when the headlight switch is in the DRL position...
