Hi all,
I was looking to add the NAVI System option to my '05 EX-L (4 Cyl.), but I am not quiet sure if all the required wiring/hardware is already installed, and you only need to add the unit. Please advice.

I think the wiring should be there, especially since you have a EX-L, which is almost identical to the EX-V6, which had the connections. Now when you say wired connections do you mean plug and play? If so it isn't at all.

Bagbklyn,
Thanks for you response. So, it is not a plug-n-play installation?. Is there any HOW TO Installation Instructions, like the ones tipically provided by Honda. Or do you reccomend me to make thru a honda dealer?

I did it for my car, but it isn't that easy and a honda dealer will not do it. Some have said then aftermarket pioneer AVIC-N1 or N2 is real good. If you are good with wires goes for it, if you aren't great with wiring and splicing this do-it-yourself isn't for you. The Navi install in total will run you around $1500-$2000 for the OEM one and cheaper for the aftermarket.

Time for a carputer. Atleast thats what Im going to do. Going to do a p-m 1.8ghz. Wireless nic and such. Looking into touch screens.Going to do it with a full size atx board. Case it up and throw in trunk. Will let it handle navi, moble net, mp3, engine managment << ie trip puter :) and everything else a puters good for and for way way less than oem navi.

Someone hooked up a shuttle PC to the Navi screen, he used it for a very short while to see if it would work and went back to the OEM navi

There was a guy over on AcuraZine who added navi to his non-navi TSX.
He had to make his own harness.
