there is absolutely no reason to do it, i switched mine and it looks like crap, as it did before, not bright at all because its the way the bulb is blocked off and positioned

its pretty tough to get it into the slot, you need to work with some tweezers to slide it in place

Really? I actually liked mine better after the LED swap.

i am not 100% sure but I think it's a 194 bulb. It really depends on what kinda bulb you get. I got the bulb with 360 viewing angle. I have a 4 door, not sure if it's the same on the coupe.
and yes, it was kinda hard to reach the bulb and I actually dropped the stock one and had to remove the interior accent piece and fish for the bulb.

i have the same bulb in there as the license plate, and those are bright, maybe i just didnt pay much attention to it since i dont open it very often.

sure can...it's the LAST (http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/store/commerce.cgi?product=CAR&keywords=&cart_id=3724835.30018&next=0) one on the link, it looks like a circuit board. the $4.95 one in cool white...this is also where i buy all my LEDs from. becareful with this bulb tho, the housing for this bulb in the glove comparment is kinda tight and i've broke one of these by scraping the side and the bulb just went out.

I just notice that they don't have cool white anymore...
I'm pretty sure I have cool white and not warm white, however, i can't find my invoice or email to confirm this. the light itself shows cool white not warm white.
