I would probably change a thing or two on the Accord if it was my car, but everybody's different.... Those mods didn't mesh well with the color of the car.

The GTI on the other hand, :thmsup:. Base GTI starts out 27K btw.

For the amount that a lot of people rave about how "cool" and "boss" the gti is, its probably one of the grimmiest new car on the road today lol. My friend has a gti (even tho i told him over and over to get an accord coupe), and he gave this girl a ride, and the second she saw his car shes like, "wow u have such a cute mini!" LOL

I noticed a lot of people that drive that car are a bunch of lil high school kids who hate and are immature...I'm not saying all high schoolers are like that at all...don't get me wrong I used to be in high school from 97-01:lmao: but it's something about lil kids in that car (at least in my area) that are all stuck up and want to race everyone and their moms....

Funny thing is while they're dissing that guys VW and his friends Accord they don't post up their rides and show how "great and bad ass" their rides look. here's the things i didn't like.

- Rims gotta go, nice size, but the bling just rices it out.
- The UGLY - I MEAN FUGLY front grills.

ok, so on an earlier thread i posted pics of my car, and a lot of people liked it, at least said they did. now i posted this thread not to show my car but to show how we have a good commuity here and its not full of a bunch of a**holes like the vw one is. now some people on this thread have been a**holes but it does not bother me because i like my car. this thread was intended to show the maturity of driveaccord compared to other forums. i searched 6 monthes until i found a forum that i liked, and not one that was full of a bunch of immature little kids whos mommy and daddy bought their cars for them. so now i get tio my questions for you guys. you dont like my car, ok i know that. so what dont you like about it besides the grille and rims? i am going to paint my grile black, but leave the sides chrome. but i am going to keep my rims, but i am going to take off the chrome covers. then i am going to lower it. i hope you all like my car after i do these mods. im just waiting until i have the time to do it. since it is the spring my job has become very demanding, so i barley have time to breath.
by all means tell me if you dont like my car. and tell me if you think you will like it better after i change those few things. and for all of you that say that my car is a disgrace, dont you have better things to do?

oh and one more thing. for those of you who who have said things that they themselves would not find insulting, thank you. and dont delete your post. somebody deleted their post after they realized that their comment was wrong. they thought i had green headlights and fogs! i think green headlights look just as bad as neon or led underglow.

Well, I didn't read all the comments (on either sites thread), but I do think that Accord is uggly.

Maybe not what one would want to hear, but...

the more aftermarket shit u do 2 the car will make it more ugly..so stop wasting ur money, painting the grill? come on..itll look even worse n riced out..wer not all immature 'kids' who their parents r paying for their car..think of it as it helping you out to fix what u effed up nd/or stop modding it the wrong way..when u c so many ppl dislike the mods..its pretty much a sign ur not doing it right..but hey u prob wont listen 2 any of us, nd keep doing unnecessary crap to what was once a beautiful coupe..

what u need to do is drop the shit out the car..put some nicer wheels that rnt flashy, hell try and find some mugen crv wheels or something to be different..if u cant afford that look for oem honda wheels..(with a drop it looks sick).put back the original grill...get at least a front lip for it..if u dont have a system in it..put a decent/good sounding one..our cars r not meant to be fast racing hondas like the superlight older civic bubbles/hatches/coupes...so also putting a supercharger or turbo in our coupes will just mess things up nd ruin your engine..keep it simple and clean or dont do anything to it at all...so many ppl look like idiots when they waste money on trying to make it look "nicer" when they are really being laffed at most of the time nd looks like they are trying to hard to make it look more 'expensive'....

well first off i was not calling everybody immature. most people on this forum are mature and can handle themselves. also, who ever said i was going to add a turbo/supercharger? if i wanted a turbo car i would have bought a turbo car. i did not buy this car because it is fast, because its not.
also, i am planning on dropping my car, i just havent gotten around to it yet. so i guess i screwed up trying to make my car look nice. i have never modded a car until i got this one. my other cars have been SUV'S, so i did not bother to even put tints. now my car now, i put tints, then i put HID's then i just got a little crazy and started doing all this other crap. one reason why i got the grille is because i wanted to get rid of the Honda logo. i personally like the look of no logos on a car IMO. i am going to do some minor adjustments then post up some pics. and hopefully you guys will like it, if not, oh well, i still like it.

As long as you like it, that's all that matters. You don't mod for everyone else, but for yourself after all.
