First got the lower rear bumper & deck lid foiled in matt black for AED90 ($24.50)

Then decided to do the same with the roof, front and rear emblems. Cost me all together AED200 ($55)

Also 30% tint all around.

I liked the idea for the lower rear bumper but not so much for the deck lid. You may wanna try blacked out the top too.

I honestly like em both the way they are... looks a lil fast and the furiousish ... I wonder will this work on the sedans because I've seen it before on the Toyota Camry SE version and always liked it... Anyone willing to pull the trigger for the sedan guys? I'll do it if someone can tell me how!

i'm feeling it with the white finish. I don't think that would look good on PMM

Trigger already pulled, but only half the people that were interested paid, so we got nowhere and right now it's dead in the water until we get enough money to get the template made.

Thanks for the link AgentWashington and i like it on the Audi and wish I knew about this earlier as I would've added myself to the list since I have an I4

Do you know if Foogaroos is still accepting requests or if it is dead in the water because he said he was going to use plastidip but I don't see where he went through with it yet.

I'd add myself to the list and I have a friend I'm sure would be willing to jump on this!

I'm just going to order a piece of black matte vinyl from decalzone.com that covers it and take it over to my tint guy and have him fit it...I think it's as easy as that...he agrees...

This only looks good for the V6 version unfortunately. The stupid I4 has that flap for the HFP kit that covers the extra pipe-hole.

Looks really nice though, good job!

Vinyl will cover that seam with no problem...no one is going to inspect the job on a creeper....I doubt anyone but me in real life (not internet) will know the black piece is even there....

The HFP kit actually has a flap, see:

It would be difficult to cover it I figure.

I like the blacked out lower bumper, but the lip spoiler doesn't mix well with the white. Maybe if the car was a darker color, it would work, but maybe.

I think all the mods look terrific...

The twin-dual exhaust are superb...

The blacked out lower bumper looks good on the white...may not be acceptable on other colors...

The decklid spoiler...a carbon fiber finish would certainly have looked better...but creative thinking...kudos...

Yeah I was debating on whether to do what you had in mind, however I thought this look was more clean for a white car. For yourself being that you drive a black Accord, it will look sick!!

Besides...my neighbor tinted the whole tail light and I didn't want my car to look like his!!

In the Gulf we get two models: 2.4EX & 3.5EX

Dont ask me why its called 3.5EX over here. Its the same EX-L V6 that you guys get there but different grade name.

Dude, the plate is Oman but I'm not Omani. I'm Iranian and lived all my life in Dubai. Purchased the car in Oman coz it was the only country in the Gulf selling the car with the HFP body kit at that time.

and so you just bought that stuff online and took it to your local shop to have it installed?

Thanks.

Is there any way you could ask the shop if they can ship out the foil for us to use over here in the states?

Or does anyone know of any US dealers? From what I can tell they're only in the Middle East and Germany.

foilacar people are quite popular here. some even get the full car foiled. example a black car from factory foiled white. the foil 'supposedly' lasts long and can be removed to expose the stock color under it. quite common here in the UAE but costs a lot.

How much do you think a small piece would cost, just to wrap the front grille, front, and rear emblems. Couldn't be too much.

The material is pasted exactly the same way tints are done on the car.
Full car wrapping where i did would cost about $700 from what i remember.
At a more professional place like foilacar it would probably be 5 times more as it comes with 5 years warranty.
