I'm looking at new brakes for my car and I'm interested in the following setup:

Front: Hawk HPS pads with Brembo blank rotors
Rear: EBC Greenstuff pads with EBC rotors

I know it's a bit weird mixing Hawk and EBC, but I can't find Hawk pads for the rear or EBC pads for the front on the parts sites I checked out (or Ebay for that matter). Although I just found out that the Greenstuff rear pads for the 08 TSX are the same for the 08 coupe, so would TSX front pads work in my car as well?

The Hawk pads I'm interested in come in two flavors:
HAWK PERFORMANCE HPS SERIES BRAKE PAD SET -- 0.681 in. thickness - $101
HAWK PERFORMANCE HPS SERIES BRAKE PAD SET -- 0.665 in. thickness - $64

Does the extra 16 mils in pad thickness justify $37 in cost?

16mm is 0.63 in so I would say yes. Getting twice the thickness at less than half the price of new pads.

How many miles do you have on your pads so far and how much do your pads have left?

16 mils is 0.016 inches, which is 0.4mm .. "mil" means one thousandth of an inch ;)

I have about 21K miles and I'm not sure how much I have left. I haven't had any of the issues other people are complaining about with their brakes and the car stops well, so they're probably fine. I'm just doing research for when I replace them in a few months.

Lol wow I've been thinking mils meant mm for the longest time.
