Wow, nice find! Small/lightweight vehicles ala' MX-5 Miata, Elise, Integra/RSX, Civic coupes/hatches, MR2/MR-S, etc' or low-HP applications would be damn fun on it. However, likely be a grid-lock due to the size/scale for high(er) hp vehicles during 'open' sessions (7pm-11pm as-per the linkie). . .

Looks hella' ideal for a go-cart/shifter-kart applications, though...

Yea i am super excited, yet slightly bummed. I would love to track my car, but a stock accord with 3700 Miles...sketchy.

Looks like my first track time will be in a kart :lmao:
Lame.

And i agree, about track length, not sure how my buddies Challenger RT is gonna hold up :paranoid:

I believe the 8th gen' Accord 6-6 coupe would be quite fun on a road-course, only things to address if you plan on doing it more than once:

Inexpensive mods' for some track-ready fun:
- custom/home-made brake-vents & ducting/tubing (cut-down on eventual fade)
- sport/track brake-pads for better initial bite & better overall braking-performance (ie. Cobalt Friction, Carbotech, etc')
- DOT 3/4/5.1 brake-fluid
- OEM/stock 17" rims or other applicable inexpensive/used lightweight alloy beater rims w/ grippy extreme performance or max' performance summer tires
- larger anti-roll/sway bars (ie. TL)
- after-market sport-shocks (ie. Koni, Bilstein, etc') or coilover setup
- passive/aggressive weight-reduction (spare-tire/tools, battery, etc')

And you're seriously set!

And i'm seriously stoked :)

i gotta put down the drink and pick up the calculator, then call my accountant, then maybe cry, then get back to you.

I am not one to do things half@ssed, so if i am going to do it, it is going to be a long term commitment. Most likely i will go out, get infatuated, and progressively upgrade.

I'd love to pick up a del sol or miata, gut it out, lower it, and try a road course.

I am going to give them a call this week and find out some more info.

Edit: Ok so every Wednesday is open track night, drivers grouped by a mix of skill level and car, last week there were 50 people, only 6 on the track at a time. Open from 7 till 1 or 2AM. First 3 laps are mild, to get your line down, after that is 3 more without instructor at full speed. Damn, this is going to be a problem...

Prob going to go out tonight or next week as a spectator and see what it's like, and will def be karting this weekend.
