I'm getting some noise coming from what I believe to be my valves. Princess, is there a pdf explaining this process? I know the rough procedure, but if there are specifics, I would greatly appreciate it!

I think my car has had an increase of noise coming from the engine bay too, and think it may be the valves. I read the maintenance minder description in the owner's manual that the valves need to be adjusted determined upon which numbers and letters pop up on the instrument panel. I don't mean to clog this thread with questions or take it away from mhadden but since it's related, how are the valves adjusted?
