So what exactly is this Cup Cake Meet? We've been working on setting up our second Dallas area meet for this summer and I saw this on V6P. Also, is this address for a business or restaurant of some type?

Basically we are a group of car enthusiasts that set up car meets in different towns/cities. some of our previous one are in austin, and dallas. There is no bias on cars/bikes of any type. you can check out our site for pictures of our previous meet and we assure you that we legit mature people. At our meets we have various photographers that would come out and take professional pictures and then would post them on the site for viewers to see.

**At our meets its usually meet and greet, the viewers are able to be expose to various cars/bikes instead of just a specific like hondas, or acuras, etc. usually followed we would cruise and find a decent sit-down place to eat. its basically a chance for ppl to get connections and meet other car enthusiats. you won't be disappointed.

**also our name came from our specialty that we have different cupcakes for sale at .50cent a piece. they are home made so you konw they going to be good.

Sounds good. I'll have to pencil that one in then. Were already trying to get a meet set for this month. From what little votes we have so far as to a date it looks like it will be two weeks prior to this one so they won't conflict. Thanks for the clarification.

I had thought about this. I even suggested it in our open talks for scheduling, but didn't get any response. I really don't get it sometimes. I've been seeing people talking about scheduling a meet in the DFW area here ever since I joined a little over 2 years ago. This year when we finally decide to take action, it's seems to be hard to get input from everyone to help plan it. Our first one we did this year got a little more response and we had 9 Accords show. We've been trying to schedule this next one and were just not getting much interaction. Don't get me wrong, they want to have one. Just difficult to get them to voice their thoughts enough for time, place, etc. Another member here and I who have been fighting the most to make this happen, decided earlier today to go ahead and start the ball rolling with the votes that we did get. The majority of them were pointing to the third Saturday in May. So we went ahead and made it official. We went ahead and set plans in motion for two more this summer as well. One in July and September. These two will also be on the third Saturday of each month. I appreciate the offer, it would of been nice to merge them. If only we would have received more positive input to the idea before we made a decision. I will be sure to mention ya'lls meet at ours to the ones that do show up. I'm still looking at attending yours as well. Not far from my work either. Your more than welcome to attend ours as well if you like. Hey VDA, could you be a little more specific as to where exactly in this huge parking lot we are to meet? I've pulled it up on mapquest (have to use West Pioneer Pkwy instead of East) and did an aerial view of the lot. I can see the lot on the SW corner of Pioneer and Great SW. I can see two very large buildings towards the back of the lot and a couple of small ones up front. A few of the guys who attended our meet last month want to meet up and probably arrive a little early so I want to make sure we go to the right area of the lot. Thanks.
