Can somebody give me the link that sells OEM Ventshades for 04 Accord Sedan? I thought I had it in my shortcuts but it's no where to be found.
Thanks!
Matt

Ventshades is a company that makes door visors. What he's looking for is a site that sells OEM door visors, which Pairallel provided. :)

I would put them on a truck again. And I like them being there alot and they have held up well. But I dont like the looks of them on a Accord or the ones used on the sun roof.

I had them installed on my 4-door about a year ago. I like them a lot, they don't really seem to add wind noise, because they fit pretty closely to the glass. Pretty durable, no scratches or chips yet - they flex well if ypu put pressure on them, but that wil probably change as the plastic ages. They also smooth the appearance of the top of the rear door frame, making it look less angular.

I got them from College Hills Honda, they have a picture of the entire set installed:

I had my dealer take care of the installation, as it involved pulling the seals out of the door frame. They only charged me about 30 bucks to do it.

Wow, they look a lot nicer than the cheapo set I bought off of eBay. Are those OEM?

I think these look better than the oem. I have them on my 06 Accord sedan.www.weathertech.com (http://weathertech.com/store/vehsearch.asp?item_group_id=4&make_id=21&year_no=2004&veh_id=274&veh_opt_choice_id=9)

How are those mounted? The OEM style uses tape that goes along the chrome trim above the windows...those are mounted below that trim.

The weathertechs have a thin edge that mounts into the window channel. They also have a small clip that is installed in the bottom window channel about 3/8's of an inch from the mirror base. The back two have some tape on the thin edge to help secure them. I have them on my Toyota pickup and both of our Accords.

Does anyone have any pictures of their Accord Sedan with front and rear window wind deflectors (I believe that is what they are called)?

How well do they function?

Are they worth it to get them directly from Honda (thus keeping them under warranty I think) or are aftermarket deflectors the way to go?

Any horror stories of them breaking/bending/chipping after going through a car wash?

I love the way they look and having the windows open while driving just makes me feel good all over. I would love to hear from people who have some first hand knowledge (and pictures :) )!

Got 'em on my truck, but just haven't been able to swallow the asthetics on an Accord. IMO there's not much benefit while driving - - and I also enjoy having the windows down. The biggee is leaving your windows cracked while parked in the sun keeps the car much cooler -- but the downside of that is all the pollen, sand, and dust that floats into the open window and leaves a layer on the dash and console. No problem for a work truck, but I decided to keep my Accord cleaner and put up with the heat.

Look for pics in a thread posted by geni01, he has them on his Accord.

If you get them installed at the dealer AFTER you buy the car, I believe the warranty is 12/12K...not for the life of the normal warranty.

Correct. To be covered by the vehicle warranty it must be included on the invoice when the car is purchased.
