Has anyone heard of this ... a friend of mine was a reckless driver/destroyer drives a integra a while back he lost his vtec it no longer gives him that extra vtec boost and you never hear it ... i find it to be funny plus he runs on 3 cylinders because he blew one.

If he's one of those types that never changes his oil then that might cause the valve to clog, but it will typically throw a code if something is wrong. If he actually is running on 3 cylinders then vtec is the least of his problems.

VTEC runs on Oil pressure......

VTEC is enabled by a solenoid passing oil pressure to move the synchronizing piston, locking all three rocker arms.

:lmao: How true!!

How long was VTEC running with 3 cylinders? That should've gone out before or immediately after the 1 cylinder.

Your friend should post a WTB: VTEC ad over in the Classified section.
