Anyone know how hard it would be to remove the e-brake handle 08 Sedan?
I will be having the gear shift knob leather wrapped and I would like to send the e-brake handle to get wrapped also.

Thank you Princess ... those directions only show the console removal. has anyone removed the e-brake handle?

As I said....the handle itself must be a no brainer once you're in there because there are no instructions. I can only get info for techs & if it's deemed too easy, then they don't provide the info.

I will pull up the console & figure it out, just not sure if the cable has to be removed with the handle.

Never assume that something is too easy and not provide instructions. There are a lot of people with no common sense. I know as I have to fix their problems at work a lot. :lmao:

That may be true, but they don't provide instructions for the pros for some things. They figure if you have to be told the undo those 2 bolts you see once the cover is off then you're in the wrong profession!

I was referring to people with college degrees, are paid a good salary, and receive a ton of training as the people I have to fix problems for. Very simple things similar to the 2 bolts that just confound people, sometimes for hours. Usually they are just way over thinking the problem and going for the most difficult (wrong) solution when the simple, correct solution is literally right in front of their face. Years of college science and engineering and too often they can't do basic troubleshooting.
