starbai 04-30-2009, 06:47 PM http://i60.photobucket.com/albums/h10/starbai1985/varinaza.jpg
these are in the top 3 choices for me for the car. I think i wanna do all chrome too --- yikes my first set of all chrome wheels. dunno if I wanna do it... maybe silver face with a chrome lip.... we'll see...
Honda247 04-30-2009, 06:52 PM Looks good. But i'm not a big fan of chrome. But chrome will look good on a black car. I say go for it.....
starbai 04-30-2009, 06:59 PM the inspiration for the look... (again not sure about the chrome, but definitly like the wheels)

Super6 04-30-2009, 07:00 PM i was actually thinking of buying these wheels but they are super expensive...like $750 per wheel...no tires.
Honda247 04-30-2009, 07:03 PM Go with the chrome. It will look better that silver....
GTFan712 04-30-2009, 07:11 PM Here's the Silver (Lightning Silver):

There's a couple other finishes to choose from on their site. Here's the link to this particular wheel:

yea... 2650 was my quote including shipping + tires. For that price, I pick my size, 20x9 in the front 20x10 in the rear, but more importantly I pick exactly the exact offset I want. so my goal will be to push it to the limit of very minimal fender rolling. Right Now I'm thinking 20x9 +40, and 20x10 +55 offset.
the Axis Accord coupe, assuming its not photoshopped is 20x9 +40 front and 20x10 + 50 rear-- and I remember somewhere that the back needed to be rolled a little.
n00dles566 04-30-2009, 07:18 PM Yeah! Def the chrome! Lovin' those wheels...be sure to post pics when you get em and put em on!!!
starbai 04-30-2009, 07:26 PM oh this is at least 6+ months away.. too much on the agenda first before these happen... plus gonna give it time for the appropriate drop to come out, either in the form of tien coilovers, or sportlines for the v6 coupe.
jlin1222 04-30-2009, 07:30 PM $2,650 is that quote from Work? That is a great deal, I have been looking at the RonJon Devotions and would like to do 19" up front and 20" in the back, but they only come in 8.5" width
starbai 04-30-2009, 07:35 PM I'd love the RonJon Legends, but tehy dont have anything in a 10" wide for the rear.
That quote was from a vendor on the s2ki forum that got me these for my s2000:

mystick6 04-30-2009, 09:57 PM If thats how its going to look on your car you better jump on it...
Digging the chrome on black...
bruceleroy 04-30-2009, 10:07 PM go for it
Jumpingbean 04-30-2009, 11:06 PM Those work rims look great. Go for the chrome for sure
rekles 05-01-2009, 05:21 AM I'd love the RonJon Legends, but tehy dont have anything in a 10" wide for the rear.
No need for a wider wheel in the back, just a lower offset to counter the wider fender. We already have a Belize Blue pearl Accord in our shop with the Legend Type II, 20" x 8.5" with a 40mm offset for the front, and a 20" x 8.5" rear with a 32mm offset for the rear, this is a perfect stance and looks very aggressive. Wider isn't better, different offset will position the wheel without the need for an expensive 275+ width tire in the back, especially on a FWD vehicle.
PICS COMING SOON.
Replay 05-01-2009, 06:03 AM Work Wheels FTW:thmsup:
Mase764 05-01-2009, 07:30 AM yea rekless i would love too see pics with th Legend type 2 cuz i was iffy on my car

No arguement there... but I'd really love to see it to decide... how long does it take to upload a pic man! I've been hearing about this blue accord with the kit and wheels for at least a few days lol!
Pricing is better than the Works, so I'm interested... but I really need to see how much an 8mm difference will really help for the rear. What is your blue accord lowered on ?
go silver!!! its easier to off when your tired of the rims.. the chrome crowd is small. unless its what you want!
i want the work xd9 19"
nice find and choice!
zexen 05-01-2009, 09:09 AM The black chrome Varianza's look good, but I will always be a fan of the Liquid Graphite RonJon Legends for our cars. Even the San Marino Red one on their site, not lowered looks good with them on.
rikrock 05-01-2009, 09:47 AM Those look good, the chrome would look good on black.
bukxanger 05-01-2009, 10:42 AM love the wheels... nice choice
Bsi523 05-01-2009, 10:49 AM I like the work wheels just prefer the silver over the chrome
rekles 05-01-2009, 05:24 PM here's a preview:
40mm offset front, 32mm offset rear, same width and diameter...
Photos are completely unedited, and the car is at stock height, no drop.

zexen 05-01-2009, 08:13 PM Ron, that looks great. I think the rears look perfect on that offset setup. Does this have to be on the Legend II's? or can you do this offset on the non-lip Legend's also?

Yeah, you can do the same with the Original Legend wheels in 19".
