Hey everyone quick question.. I hope this isnt a problem for everyone else and everyone who has it should definetly check this..I saw someone say how the intake was sitting on the rainguard where the old air filter usta be. I was driving the other day on the highway doing about 80 mph and i heard a loud noise and ran something over. It turns out the whole wheel well got ripped out because the intake is actually pushing it down harder then you believe. I notice this because i went bought another liner..75 dollars w/ clips, and the installlation was extremeeellyyyy hard to push the intake up to put the clips in...so hard that the second u put one clip in ..it would pop it out. So, me taking a chance since i was going to be late for the yankee game drove there with the wheel well clipped in but not the part underneath the filter..My stupidity yes, but it was a surprise for my gf to go so.... Well it happened again on the highway this time jacking up my wheel..people were looking at me like a madman ripping out plastic from my wheel well and throwing it in frustrationn...okay point of my horrible grammar filled story is,

i followed those instructions really well and im pretty sure i didnt do anything wrong...is there a way i could adjust the intake so its not sitting so low...cuz mine actually looks a little bit too low like there might be something wrong, so maybe im not that great lol. And what definetly sucks is forcast for rain in nyc for like 7 days..but good news is i drove the car in the rain to the yankee game and the car rain fine so for all you hydrolock freaks im sure youll be okay cuz i definetly have tested my car to the extreme =[. Thanks for all your help and i know as always driveaccord is the best place to go

One thing i noticed on the V6 is you could push 90degree rubber bend higher on the main pipe to kinda raise it / lower it. But i'm not sure if its the same setup as the i4
