I was cleaning my car today and found 3 very small chips in the front of the car. They are rock chips from the highway I am sure.
My question is, will touch-up paint from Honda do it? These are very very small chips I am talking about.

I'd do it if they are on bumper or hood and if there's no dent.

If it got down to the primer or metal than I would use it to prevent rusting.

I got a rock chip on my 08 sedan taffeta white. I bought a bottle of touch-up from the dealership.

I placed blue painters tape around the chip area. The chip went down to the metal or primer if its gray. I thinks it bare metal the way it feels.

I applied 3 coats to get the paint to the same height as the surrounding paint. The # of applications will vary from car to car / person to person.

Overall. for "taffeta white" I can barely see it. I need to feel for it.

just make sure to put couple more coating to the same thickness as the original paint....at first you might notice the spot but after a few days when the touch-up paint blend in and get "oxidated?" (im not sure if that's the word) a little bit...you probably wont see the spot as obvious

Also, if they're real small, a tooth pic will let you have more control over a tiny area, vs using the brush that comes with the paint. Make sure you remove any wax before doing this, and if you want a perfect repair, use something like Malm's Ultra Fine Polishing Cleaner (or a similar product) to smooth the paint after it dries - if done correctly, you'll never know there was a chip.
