This may give some clues as too what the civic interior in NA will look like:
Very futuristic, I sorta like. It grows on me more and more, everytime I look at it.

Don't think it's our interior. It looks different from what you can see in the spy pics of the red Si coupe.

More '06 Euro 5-door pics/specs are on VTEC.net. I personally find the whole thing to be disgusting, exterior, interior and all. The pics also clearly show heated seat buttons. But the most shocking thing - the new Civic 2.2L i-CTDi diesel is going to weigh 1350-1450kg and that's with ONLY a 6-speed manual. You do the math, 1450KG is a staggering 3200lbs...that's nuts for a car that size. Hope our Civic doesn't pig out.

Most cars are pigging out these days... The demand for stiffer frames and more equipment doesn't really help... For example, the accord (5th gen) used to weigh around 2900lbs. now, it weighs about 3350lbs.
I can't believe the Civic gained more than 500lbs over two generations, though! The '99 Civic EX AT only weighed about 2600lbs!

Looks like I lucked out, my Accord even being an EX model only weighs 3020lb. Also remember that the Civic I was quoting is a diesel, but that's still plenty heavy. The 1.8L Civic 5 door loaded up is expected to weigh slightly under 2900lbs.
