I was thinking about installing fog lights on my 03 coupe until I read what all is involved. YIKES! So I wanted to see who out there bit the bullet and had them put in.

IMO the cost and installation effort just doesn't make it worth it to me.

They don't really do much for night driving. They're mainly cosmetic so it depends on how much you want the look. I really like the look of the coupe fogs but its not something I plan on buying soon.

We have real FOG & I insisted on them as soon as we bought the car. In fact, them & the spoiler came home in the back!

They not only work great here for our fog.....up & down I5, but they have also added light to the sides for dark lonely road driving! :thmsup:

proper use of foglights is to have your fogs on and dim your regular headlights, right? just wondering.....

can i get those on an LX, or would I have to get the EX?

Yes, never use "brights" with fog lights.

I don't know if they worked out the outside temp & foglight issue... :dunno: so if you don't care about the ACCESSORY outside temp.... you can have foglights on either the LX or EX. If it come with the outside temp as a factory thing, then they're also compatible...

As an accy. but not with foglights too.....unless you know someone with wiring skills.... it's not impossible.... just is far from plug n' play!

I had a really hard time with that too! I kept going in the house....then peeking in the garage....tearfully!! :paranoid: Same with the spoiler! There's just somethin' wrong with puttin' holes in a brand new car!!!

if they're truly useful, then the good outweights the bad..... if not, why bother?

Good mod on a sedan to make the front a bit more attractive........

The foglights in the US Accords are not the best....

The ones in this hemisphere are much better.

I got some pics of the fog lights on my car in this thread. You might want to consider getting the front lip also... It makes it look sooooo much better in front! :D

I was looking at em. My local dealer noted that they have to replace them a lot up north from all the crud we throw on the roads in the winter to make them driveable. Sales rep said people are in constantly with broken lenses, so he advised saving my $$$$$ for something else.....
