Don't know if this has been talked about before...tried searching to no avail.

I have the factory interior illumination...its nice, just not bright enough. Is there anyway that the bulbs that Honda gives with the package can be changed to something brighter? I'm guessing not, but you never know.

i know...it was a freebie though so i cant really complain...just would like it a bit brighter but if theres no options ill live with it. But you're right...that is seriously bright and looks pretty damn good....good job

Well. you may be able to just tap into the wireing harness where the LED plugs into and just change the bulb. :dunno:

Its really not that difficult. Just cut the wire where the current LED lights are, splice in your new LED lights of choice. The wire to the LED lights are not hidden or anything, they just sort of sit up there in the foot well. Just take a look, its all exposed. Easy easy easy.

not sure why people want it brighter.... it will become distracting at one point if its too bright.. the subtle glow of the factory illumination is what makes the kit so awesome! it doesnt destract from the rest of the dash and it looks classy.. just my two cents..

I actually think its too bright as it comes. The bright blue light looks kinda cheesy in my opinion. Thinking of maybe switching it to a more subtle white.

yeah i wasnt too sure about the blue at first either... white would look more classy and more in line with BMW and Lexus. .but this isnt a bmw or lexus. . .. but to switch out the LED's its pretty easy.. just pop off the cover and solder on white LED's..

it should be pretty easy wiring it to the dome light.. i did that for a aftermarket LED kit on my old car with just a relay....i dont think you can see the blue with the dome lights on so i am not going to attempt it or else I would put a DIY. but it should be pretty easy.. all you need is a relay and probe for the right wire to tap into ..
