Am I the only one here that actually LIKES the looks of the OEM wheels on the 09 I4 Coupe?

.....maybe debadging the trunk lid, cleaning up the front grill area, even adding a few body kit pieces here and there, but the wheels?.......nah, they look pretty good to me already....and I kind of like the I4 wheels more than I do the V6 wheels.

Does that make me the oddball in the crowd?:)

I think the design is fine but the I4 stock wheels are just too small imo.

IMO they should've made the I4 wheels 18" and you could have your pick of these or the current V6 wheels. I4 wheels = sporty; V6 wheels = classy. It all depends on what look you're going for.

Yeah I love the look of the I4 wheels. I mean, they're made by Enkei, so there can't be anything bad about them, other than the fact that they're an inch or two too small.

So what exactly are you guys doing then......going to a bigger diameter wheel, but dropping down to a shorter sidewall, in order to keep the same overall diameter, so as to not throw the speedometer off?

Doesn't that make the ride a lot rougher? The suspension on the couple already seems pretty stiff to me...not BAD stiff, but a lot firmer than I would have thot for a "family" car.

most are replacing the wheels and tires despite the nice design.

-I think the I4 wheels look really good when you lower the car(Eibach springs)---if you dont lower the car, I dont care for wheels at all...I got rid of mine(17" I4) in favor of the 18"v6 style(which I love)...

Yeah, I love my i4 wheels, just feel that they are to small on this big car! I do agree that lowering the car seems to make it look much much better! But I plan on getting a set of those 19" Infiniti rims cause I love the way those look!

To me the I4 wheels are horrible and after a year of having them they arent getting better. But someone on this site polished his and that looked pretty good.

I really like the I4 rims, as well, but agree that the overall wheel/tire package looks "dinky" on the car.

When it comes time to replace the OEM rubber, I'm thinking of upsizing to 235/50/17 which would result in the same overall diameter as the V6 wheel/tire package with only a 1.7% difference in speedo reading. Also, I think having a tire with a stronger sidewall than the OEM Michelins would help immensely.

Not too keen on dropping the car, though. With the roads in my city, the more ground clearance the better. Plus, I get enough snow in the winter that a lower front end would require that I install a bumper shovel.

I really like the them too, the only negative for me is the staggered set up.
I love the staggered look but it's not something I would do on a FWD car.

I personally like the looks of my OEM alloy wheels. The accord IMHO already has a harsh enough ride, not to mention road noise even after insulating the trunk and floor pan. Drops, bigger wheels, smaller sidewalls...No Thanks!
