I am extremely happy with results. dropped my car off at 9am and it was ready by 3:45. This what was done 4 halos,6000k HID installed (HIDs were from retro solutions they have real fast shipping and great customer service), side marker painted black, and lightwerkz harness. now the pics i will try to get better pics when its stops raining

Mochimellow 06-05-2009, 01:47 PM Beautiful. I didn't know 6000k looks that blue. I think I'll end up getting 6000k hids instead of 8000k. I like the halos. Lightwerks does a clean job! How much did it cost?

i have 6k from retro to ...they really arent that blue ...guess he just caught them at the right angle or something...everything looks good though...heck of a first mod
Andrew025 06-05-2009, 01:51 PM Wow that's a real quick turn around. Looks sweet.

thanks man! the price may vary depending on what you want, you can go to their website http://lightwerkz.net/ he has prices there or just emai them to get a price quote.
jkcheng122 06-05-2009, 02:08 PM I thought having side markers black is illegal, how do they look when you turn them on?
+1 on 6000K not looking that blue in person. I wonder what settings we need on cameras to capture the correct color out of our HIDs.
Kayzle 06-05-2009, 02:11 PM I would totally do this if I didn't have to ship my lights, wish lightwerkz was right down the street

really? i dont think their illegal. when my lights are on there is no light from the side markers
Kayzle 06-05-2009, 02:16 PM It's illegal to not have blinking ambers up front, the smoked part of his lights dont blink with the turn signal, the amber lights up front do, hes perfectly legal
jkcheng122 06-05-2009, 02:16 PM really? i dont think their illegal. when my lights are on there is no light from the side markers
When you turn on your turn signals there's no blinking light in your front??? That has to be illegal.

The ones to the inside of the front? Are you sure that's enough?
Kayzle 06-05-2009, 02:18 PM The ones to the inside of the front? Are you sure that's enough?
haha yea... it's not the size of the light, it's the color and if it blinks or not.
it never made sense to me why they didn't make the big ambers blink with the signals, but they dont
Kayzle 06-05-2009, 02:20 PM thanks man! the price may vary depending on what you want, you can go to their website http://lightwerkz.net/ he has prices there or just emai them to get a price quote.
what did he charge YOU?
I want to do the exact same thing, and have the same car, so I'm sure the price wouldnt vary much

Understood, either way looks good, I'm a ****er for halo's but I don't have the patience to ship my lights off and be without them for a week+, looks ill be stuck with just plain jane HIDs

is it just me or does that actually sound cheap?
xxDaJackalxx 06-05-2009, 02:34 PM That looks sexy as $#!T. Adding to my list of To-Do Mods. More pix!!
Qs: So are the angels running in place of your DRL? Is there an additional switch to control them? Please explain, I've never had halos installed and don't know what to expect.

loll for the amazing job that casear did! pricing was excellent

Assuming you'd have to ship your headlights to lightwerkz, it's probably going to cost more than just dropping off your car at their place.

lightwerkz gives you the option of as running them as DRL or having them wired to your parking lights..i had them wired to my parking lights since i pulled my DRL fuse, the switch is your reaguler headlight switch turn once halos and parking lights come on turn 2nd time low beam comes on

You need to tell Caesar to expand! Have him build a shop out in L.A. and I'm sure he'll have Accord owners busting down the damn door.
nycoupe08 06-05-2009, 04:23 PM i have the 6k from retro its white
BillyR06 06-05-2009, 05:12 PM here are some night pics there are not the best pics but its still raining and i dont have a great camera i can only get up close shots ill try to get pics of the whole front of the car when the weather gets better....i also love how the halos come on and off with the parking lights when i lock/unlock the car

checkZvtec 06-05-2009, 05:32 PM oh wow, i never thought about that. the lock/unlock must be real snazzy when walking your date back to the car, or hell just walking home by yourself & looking around at the lovely light show whilst locking your car. also, I bet it is much easier to see in daylight that your car is locked in noisy surroundings.
I'm am with BlackListed. Truly stellar 1st mod.

that's exactly what I thought when I got home and lock my car and saw they blink on and off.....it blew my mind
blacklisted 06-05-2009, 06:24 PM So Billy you got these done at Lightwerkz and didn't get a retrofit?
BillyR06 06-05-2009, 06:35 PM So Billy you got these done at Lightwerkz and didn't get a retrofit?
=( yea I know I wanted to get a retrofit but funds are currently tight....besides I rather just save the money for other mods and deal with the stock projectors
Mase764 06-06-2009, 05:37 AM looks sick, sweet mod
i might have to stop by ceaser as well
th3darkmarket 06-06-2009, 05:43 AM hell of a first mod, looks great
BillyR06 06-06-2009, 06:20 AM thanks guys for all the good comments!
nonewz 06-08-2009, 07:52 AM Billy -
or anyone who wants to chime in....
whats the advantage of wiring them on parking light vs DRL? when wired at parking light during the day, you have your tailights on too isnt not? Is there a DRL wiring harness to give constant power for your angel eyes if wired to DRL? or is it completely preference?
lude.to.accord 06-08-2009, 08:38 AM that does look amazing. I think kopi also did his halos with ceaser. Where you from billy? When it stops raining this week, see if you can get a shot of it from like 10 feet away. Thanks!
kopimon 06-08-2009, 08:45 AM Looks awesome .. another fine job by Caesar. How come you didn't have him replace the amber bulbs in front with stealth chrome bulbs?
Also where in BC are you? I'll look for your car on the highway
nonewz, wiring them to the parking lights lets you turn them on/off via the headlight stalk .. besides, it's always a good idea to pull the DRL fuse when you get these because it would look weird with the halos and DRL on at the same time
Kayzle 06-08-2009, 09:17 AM Ok guys so I plan on doing the angel eyes myself, but I have a few questions number one do you have to manually splice the angel eyes into the wiring of your other lighrs, or is it a simple plug in type of thing
number two, how do you get the angel eye in the high beam to stay i there floating it looks almost as if nothing is holding it so i cant tell how you keep it in there safely without having it move or anytinhtg
and lastly I'd like to have my angel eyes hooked up to my DRL's that way I don't have to turn them on manually, but that ****s bc that means I wont have them on when I turn on my low beams, is there any way to have your angel eyes autmatically come on like DRL's but still be one when you turn on your lowbeams
I realize this post is loaded with questions But im serious about doing this myself and I need a little help

i'm from ridgefield its a small town thats 2 min way from the gwb i normally drive on 80 to go to work infairfield....caesar told me he was gonna pull the bulbs and replace with chrome ones...i thought he did until i took a closer look and realize that he didn't but it didn't matter i didnt ask for the bulbs nor get charged for them...i see you have the same setup:thmsup:...what part of jersey your from...i noticed with your setup tho that your parking lights are not on when your headlights are on...how did you do that?
nonewz 06-08-2009, 01:53 PM kopimon thanks for the feedback. i am with Kayzle's, i want to splice it to DRL so i dont have to turn them on. I like the idea of having halos on but not the rest of the parking lights.
BillyR06 06-08-2009, 01:58 PM that does look amazing. I think kopi also did his halos with ceaser. Where you from billy? When it stops raining this week, see if you can get a shot of it from like 10 feet away. Thanks!
i dont have the best camera but ill try to get better pics from a farther distance...kopi has the same setup and has better pics, his thread link is in his sig

I'm in Little Falls, right next to Fairfield (although most of my travels take me down Rt3 to Hoboken). The parking light is the amber one in your avatar picture, right? If so, mine isn't on because of the chrome bulb Caesar put in. It only comes on when you turnsignal, and then it blinks amber.
lude.to.accord 06-09-2009, 04:10 AM nice i'm not too far from you Billy. I used to live in Teaneck when I was younger, but live down Teaneck Rd. in Dumont. But I'm around your area all the time.

yea Caesar told me he was going to replace them with the chrome bulbs which I thought was cool of him because I didn't even ask for it but I guess he was real busy and forgot...do you know what brand the bulbs are?

Nope, I have no idea .. they're just bulbs Caesar had on hand
Kayzle 07-16-2009, 10:17 AM I want to see full body pictures!
Better to judge the blacked out amber, preferably no rain :)
stevelb1 07-23-2009, 12:24 PM You paid $6k for HID's? You need to have your head examined. The headlights that came with the car are fine. I will put my $6k towards anything else. Thanks.

Where did you read he paid $6K for his HID? I think your reading comprehension needs to be examined.
From what I read:
price was
lightwerkz wiring harness = 50.00
4 angel eye kit =100.00
painted side marker=80.0
installtion of all items plus hid kit=215.00
i provided the hid kit but lightwerkz sells them
so the total i paid was 445.00

you wont regret it Caesar is a cool guy and really knows his stuff!
AznX TL 07-23-2009, 06:19 PM The ones to the inside of the front? Are you sure that's enough?
the ones on the outside dont even blink anyways.
jkcheng122 07-23-2009, 07:51 PM the ones on the outside dont even blink anyways.
Yeah I didn't realize that at the time that was posted.
Kayzle 07-24-2009, 05:53 AM i did not pay 6K for HID's if i did would not be driving a honda accord....you misread 6k is the color temp i have for the HID's
lollllll
jkcheng122 07-24-2009, 06:22 AM It's funny how some ppl misread and start insulting others before double checking they're on the right side of things. Especially when one thinks someone spent $6000 on headlights.
Mase764 07-24-2009, 06:58 AM lol 6k on lights priceless they better see 10 miles away from my car
LeathaFace 08-01-2009, 09:56 AM what size woud i need or should i say are there specific sizes for the sedans or are they pretty much all the same just depending on color? Im about to order the 6k or 8k hid set from retro
MrLogan13 09-11-2009, 09:41 AM You paid $6k for HID's? You need to have your head examined. The headlights that came with the car are fine. I will put my $6k towards anything else. Thanks.

MrLogan13 09-11-2009, 09:42 AM Your first mod looks awesome.
alsaccord 09-12-2009, 12:33 AM looks cool and the work was done fast :D . i did my own lights and its quite a process so if i had such a place down the street i would have let them do it. I didnt get halos, but the work to get the lights open is the same.
