I've had my Fujita CAI for about 10k miles now with the CEL on. I got tired of seeing the CEL so I finally put my stock air box back on. The car seems much smoother now but less responsive and no more growl when I get on the gas. The intake seemed like it affected the transmission or something. It would hold the gears for much longer and it had a hard time finding the right gears. Like I feel the car should shift to a higher gear but there's this lag and sometimes it would shift gears then drop back down a second or 2 then shift back up. I thought this was normal since I have an A/T but is it really normal? Or is it because of the CEL? I'm interested in the new Takeda SRI but don't want my car acting up again like the Fujita made it do. Anyone have some insight on this?

I had the exact same transmission issues but we've already discussed this. Think mine might've been install issue though I'm not sure. I want to put it back on, and get the code if it comes back on.

Well currently I have my stock intake w/o resonator. Im just wondering if this is normal and im almost certain it wasnt an install issue. Does adding an intake to an Automatic affect your transmission/gearing? Im assuming it does because you get some added power. I want to get another intake but dont want the same thing happening.
