desiboy5291 06-06-2009, 07:21 AM cant find the thread on the license plate lights, dome lights, and map lights. I was wondering if someone can tell me what the sizes for the lights are on each one. If you can send me a link to the site or the thread that would be sweet. Also is there a DIY for the license plate? thank you so much and sorry if its like a stupid question. I tried to search for it i tried led lights, map lights, v leds. with no avail
xJoeMama78 06-06-2009, 08:07 AM Map and dome lights are 3175.

License plate, glove box, and trunk are 194/168/158, all have the same base.

Visor vanity mirrors are these.

To get out the license plate light, use a screwdriver to pry off the clear cover, grab the bulb, and just pull straight down.
I have used both v-leds and superbrightleds and have gotten good service and fast shipping from both.
desiboy5291 06-06-2009, 10:11 AM seriously thank you man

It all depends on how many LEDs you are running. Here's what I have.

desiboy5291 06-06-2009, 11:45 AM can post up some picks of them im really curious to see what it will look like...thanks alot man ur really helpful.
desiboy5291 06-06-2009, 01:34 PM also do u have to take out the fuse when you want to install the lights or is it just a precaution and rarely ever short circuits
xJoeMama78 06-06-2009, 06:03 PM I'll try to get some pics later tonight. You don't need to pull a fuse, but I guess you can if you are worried about blowing one. I've never blown a fuse by changing a bulb in 15 years of driving, but people on here seem to. I would just make sure the light you are changing is off, pull the bulb, install the new bulb, and turn the light on the make sure the polarity is correct. If the bulb doesn't turn on, turn the light back off, flip the bulb 180 degrees, and retry it.
Accordriver 06-06-2009, 09:11 PM also do u have to take out the fuse when you want to install the lights or is it just a precaution and rarely ever short circuits
If there is a short you're just going to blow the fuse the second you put it in
xJoeMama78 06-06-2009, 09:13 PM Ok, here's the pics of my LEDs. My only camera is a point and shoot, I don't have a tripod, and I'm not even an amateur photographer, so the pics aren't that great.
Front seats and back seats, blue dome. Brightness in pic is pretty accurate but color is washed out, it is more blue.

http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b41/jkesgomol/Accord/P6062621.jpg
Front seats, white maps. Again, brightness is pretty accurate. Color is a little washed out but is pretty close, in person it's a bit whiter.

Visor vanity mirrors, 5k white. Brightness and color are accurate.
http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b41/jkesgomol/Accord/P6062631.jpg
Glove box, white. Brightness and color are pretty accurate. You can see the OEM interior illumination too.
http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b41/jkesgomol/Accord/P6062625.jpg
Trunk, white. Brightness and color are pretty accurate.

License plate, white. Probably most accurate brightness and color of all the pics.

Its fairly simple the clear lens kindsa fits inside of this black plastic housing... slide a flat tip screw driver inbetween the clear lense and the black plastic and pry out the clear lens... the clear lens will come right out and you put the bulb in. This may take some finessing but its extremely strong and will take a lot to break.
Worst case scenario its $5 at the dealer for a new one, but really u'd have too be pretty retarded to be able to break it. If you need pics of what I'm refering to let me know and I'll take a few tonight. but really its extreemly easy to see it when you do it. lemmie kno.

Whoa! Nice.
But I hope that sub is wired out of phase or it's not doing much other than cancel out with the rest of the bass from your mid-bass drivers in tha cab because of it's mount orientation.

jkcheng122 06-14-2009, 03:36 PM If I'm looking to replace my map lights (the 2 in roof console) and the dome light (roof light between front and rear seats) as well as trunk and license plate lights with white LEDs, is this all I will need?
1. http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/CornerSide-Marker-LED/White-LED/2-HID-WHITE-HIGH-POWER-p4481133-1-2.html (2 lights, one for license plate and one for trunk, or is the trunk needing more than 1 bulb?)
2. http://www.v-leds.com/Interior-LED/DomeMap-LED/White-LED/HID-WHITE-M-SMT-16-LED-p5767433-1-2.html (3 of these?)
Also how are V-LED's lights different from XenonDepot's Putco lights which are much more expensive and nearly $20 shipping to my location.
jkcheng122 06-15-2009, 06:42 AM anyone able to chime in on this?
