Hey guys,
I just wanted to know if the '08 G35S rims could be placed on the '08 Accord LX.

I know UFmike316 from cardomain has an accord with the sweet G37 rims. He mentioned that he had to have the center bore enlarged to accomodate hubcentric rings, and he also had to get different lug nuts.

I was wondering if you guys thought this might work with these wheels. Im asking b/c I've been looking to do the G37 mod, but I found these G35 rims at a hell of a deal.

Can someone potentially photoshop these on the 08 LX model to see what the potential might be? How much work would be involved to make this happen as well. Would these be a good mod for the price?

Here are pics of the G35S wheels

Centerbore should be your only issue.

i think you would be better off buying a set of someone's v6 coupe take off 18's. i liked the g37S rims because they were a ten spoke (same style as HFP and oem rim) but very open and with a more agressive offset. im sure you could get a set of the honda 18" takeoffs for under $1000 including tires and not have to spend $150 enlarging the centerbore and save the $50 on the lugnuts. i think on the coupe looks best with a 5 or 10 spoke rim.

You're right Mike. I actually went on cardomain and looked up sedans w/ the v6 18's. They do make the sedan look better. These G35 rims I found from someone local for $700 bucks with tires. They upgraded their G35 w/ the same G37 rims you have. For the price to enlarge the bore and the lugnuts, it will also be around $1000 but with less hassle.

I might still try to do this mod with the suggestions youve made. Im trying to be different here. If I do decide to go w/ just the 18's from the V6, are they just bolt on w/o any modifications?

I don't think anyone has mentioned the TPMS. Can I just use the ones from my wheels regardless of which route I decide to go on the rims?

I would photoshop them for you but i will not condone that kinda ugly on an accord.

first, the tpms from your stock wheels will work with whatever rims you use.
second, the oem 18s will fit right on with no mods. if you live in FL, i have my set of takeoffs i will be selling pretty cheap soon.

okay here they are

i tried my best to do it to scale beacuse i think the 2nd biggest problem you'll have beyond the center bore issue, is that they'll look small as shit on the coupe.

but thats my opinion..
Actually the picture looks a lot better than you're final results will be beacuse they're larger than I think they'd look on the actual car... plus the pic I used for this was of a car that was already lowered.

they look pretty small BUT damn, they actually look alot better on the accord than the g35 IMO

i agree they do... the G35 sedan has all kindsa bulges and bumps on it looks like a bloated pms'ing altima.

Those actually look impressive on the coupe. I actually have the LX sedan. Can you photoshop those rims on this one

I might consider getting them. They do look pretty sweet on the coupe. Better than I imagined.

I just have the regular hubcaps on mine now. I think they're 16's? If the rims on the sedan look anything close to the coupes, I might consider getting them> I was planning on lowering my car anyways.

just a word of advice. if you are not absolutely in love with the rims, i dont recommend putting the infiniti wheels on the accord. it was a HUGE pain in the ass to get the center bores enlarged, and an even bigger pain in the ass to get lugnuts that would work. not to mention that honda doesnt make centercaps that will fit the infiniti. and in the event of curbing a rim in the future, you would have to buy a new wheel and get its center bore enlarged again. its not that it isnt do-able, but it is a lot of work.

Im not really in love with the G35 rims at all. In the end I just might go for the coupe wheels. Let me know when you're ready to sell. Also, thanks for all the advice. I really appreciate it. That goes to everyone else as well

Hey ufmike316 I've checked your ride with the G37 stock 10 spoke wheels, and really like the look. I have a 2009 4dr Accord sedan same color as your coupe and will be upgrading the rims soon. I, however, do not want to go through the trouble you went through of enlarging the center bores etc. I have found an alternative rim that looks just like the G37 rim made by American Racing. It's model BMP 331 (black chrome) or BMP 661 (chrome). These rims will fit at least the 2009 4d accord without any midifications I believe. What do you think?
