Hello all,

Just curious - I'm thinking about dynamating the floor of my coupe to help reduce some of the road noise. Might do the doors also. Any suggestions on how many square feet you think I might need if I did the floor, driver/passenger doors, under rear seat and rear wheelwells? if you could break it down by guestimate per area, that would be great..

I.E:
Floor = xx sqft
Doors = xx sqft
etc.

I really want to do this to lower the road noise a little. For the extra 40-50 pounds it might add, its worth it to me..

I think the 36sq ft bulk pack for $140 is enough for the floor and doors if you don't cover the whole door. The bulk pack 23lbs if I remember correctly.

go with RAAMmat or fatmat, you get more for your money and work just as good if not better. dynamat is just a fancy name

dynamat is the best :) Did it to my old car the results were astounding! I have another pack left over that I might sell. I'll go see how many sheets remain. I had the bulk pack of 7 .. think i still have 5 left over ..

I'd stay away from fatmat since they don't work too well in the heat.

Skidude04 - i hope i'm not too late to give you some perspective. I was unhappy with the road noise and decided to dynamat with dynaliner. Floor, firewall, doors, trunk, hood and road noise is status quo. I'd say "save your money" if road noise is your ultimate goal. Here's my post when i did it. http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/showthread.php?t=17697&page=2
