changing my oil today on my 05 2.4L and had to drive a screwdriver through the filter to get it off. My plier type wrench would not budge it. Just wondering what wrench if any does everyone use on here to remove the filter. thanks in advance.

I have had good luck with the metal cup type filter wrench that honda put out when they switched to the smaller A01-A02 sized filters. It was a little pricey, but I have a 01, 03, & 07 Accord and a 03 MDX in my fleet and they all take the same filter so it works out for me. If I'm not mistaken, the honda filter wrench also fits on the mobil 1 honda sized filters I use occasionally too.

I use Flotool Super Graphite oil filter wrench no. 5. I think I got it for less than CAD$5.00, works fine...

Strap wrenches work good if you have the clearance to use them. The end cap wrenches also work good if you stick to one brand of filter and find one that fits well on it.
