You should scale your pics down for viewing on a website. I like the 70's retro looking CB Radio, until you notice the Bluetooth logo indicating it is a recent model. Are CB radios popular in Indiana? I had a Cobra CB in my '80 Datsun when I was a teenager (before cell phones existed). My brother had one in his '80 Accord and we would use them all the time.

Here is the Cobra in my old Datsun, lower left corner.

I still have a Cobra 29 NW classic in my Ranger. I see the antennas on vehicles here in Texas all the time. I thought about putting one in the Accord but I would want it hidden and I don't know what to do about the antenna mounting either. Don't want to drill any holes or use the magnetic type. I've tried very hard to keep this one clean looking. Still trying to figure out how I would want this to be done.

I was disappointed by the bluetooth on the Cobra. When I first saw it, I thought it was so you could run a headset from the radio. Come to find out it was so you can use the radio as a hands free device for your cell phone.

I do have to say that it has been a while since I've seen anyone use the loudspeaker on a CB.

I talked to a HAM guy about that very thing. He actually recommended for a novice/part time use, get a portable (looks like an old school walkie). Then you can use it wherever you want, nothing ties it to the car. Newer technology makes them work ok without a giant whip? Perhaps?

Never had much luck with them. Especially inside the car. Didn't seem to extend outside the vehicle without an external antenna.
