Hi folks,

This is my first post and I could really do with some opinions. I have a 2007 accord type s 2.0, the problem I have is that when I release the handbrake and try to drive off they will make a loud noise from broth brakes and then move off. It does seem like they are sticking as I have to rev a little more in order to move off. This only tends to happen after there has been rain, which unfortunately in the north of england tends to happen quite frequently. Can anyone help, is this normal? what should I do?

thanx in advance for your suggestions!!

Sounds like rotor rust. Mine does it after every wash & rain.

I'd be willing to bet Honda uses a more aggressive and abrasive pad in Europe/UK than here. These tend to "stick" to rotors much more readily when they get wet, and then sit for a time.

The EBC Yellow pads I run on my US Accord stick VERY well, usually after I wash it and put it away.
