Denby 06-25-2009, 08:25 AM Congrats. Details? 20x8.5 from here.... If you don't mind me asking, how much did those bad boys set you back? Denby 06-25-2009, 08:58 AM and another one :banana: http://i543.photobucket.com/albums/gg461/denby_2009/Picture001.jpg Denby 06-25-2009, 09:01 AM They look good... they almost remind me of some of the new AXIS rims that have the indented look to the rear wheel to make it look deep without the lip.. If you don't mind me asking, how much did those bad boys set you back? $1900 total v-6 nolo 06-25-2009, 09:05 AM i like it, always was a fan of concave rims. felix 06-25-2009, 09:32 AM I like the rims man! Sweet ride. Where in Ohio are you from? BoBoTee 06-25-2009, 09:36 AM I think it looks good, I like the concave design and the color almost matches your chrome trim. felix 06-25-2009, 09:37 AM Is your car lowered? jkcheng122 06-25-2009, 10:15 AM sorry to be a noob, is there a difference between "staggered", "dropped', and "slammed"? felix 06-25-2009, 10:18 AM sorry to be a noob, is there a difference between "staggered", "dropped', and "slammed"? Dropped and slammed refers to the car being lowered. Staggered refers to the wheels being wider in the back, which you'd find in RWD cars mostly. mystick6 06-25-2009, 10:18 AM Staggered is when your front wheel is for example 20 x 8.5 and your rear wheel is 20 x 10. Dropped is when you install a spring kit for lowering and SLAMMED is when your ballin and get a coilover kit with built in shocks optimised for performance and can adjust ride height to what ever you prefer..... Make sure you get a camber kit for any of these. Gosha 06-25-2009, 10:35 AM little too busy for my taste, but as long as you like them CRS 06-25-2009, 10:45 AM looks good! somewhat reminds me of the rims i really want.....Work emotion XD9 19" or 20" Denby 06-25-2009, 10:48 AM Is your car lowered? yes eibach pro, guys from the tire shop said it's just the right drop otherwise the tires would rub.....was thinking coils but can't anymore....... my first choice was Axis Elite....couldn't get em........kept searching found these and i thought they were the best fit. thanks for the props guys.....ooh i'm located in toledo ohio Batman66 06-25-2009, 10:49 AM Looks Tastefull Not Tacky.. Deff a more mature look IMO Not bad Denby 06-25-2009, 10:50 AM little too busy for my taste, but as long as you like them You bet i do :thmsup: Denby 06-25-2009, 11:02 AM I like the concave design and the color almost matches your chrome trim. good point, that was apart of the decision to get these wheels willyro12 06-25-2009, 11:18 AM those look alittle wide...but that just my opinion starbai 06-25-2009, 11:18 AM MMR HR4's huh? They look aight.... They look good, I was considering them. looking at them here though I'm kinda glad I didn't get them, I've decided, I NEED A LIP My only gripe about your setup OP is that the car isn't low enough. WAYY too much wheel gap going on. jkcheng122 06-25-2009, 11:18 AM Staggered is when your front wheel is for example 20 x 8.5 and your rear wheel is 20 x 10. Dropped is when you install a spring kit for lowering and SLAMMED is when your ballin and get a coilover kit with built in shocks optimised for performance and can adjust ride height to what ever you prefer..... Make sure you get a camber kit for any of these. Thanks. I have no plans for lowering the car outside of HFP suspension kit so I should be fine on needing a camber kit. No plans for new wheels either until current tires wear out. starbai 06-25-2009, 11:28 AM I know to each his own, and jkcheng122 this isn't directed towards you directly. This is just a statement of my general feelings on the subject: Personally I can't see why anyone would do the HFP springs. Unless you've got some kind of hook up where you're getting an insane price on them. You can get coilovers, with the correct camber kits to have full adjustability of your suspension for very close to the same price. Why anyone would pay that much for a drop thats barely noticable I will never understand. Again, to each their own. BoBoTee 06-25-2009, 11:30 AM yes eibach pro, guys from the tire shop said it's just the right drop otherwise the tires would rub.....was thinking coils but can't anymore....... my first choice was Axis Elite....couldn't get em........kept searching found these and i thought they were the best fit. thanks for the props guys.....ooh i'm located in toledo ohio That's what I wasn't leaning towards, the Axis Elite....are you saying nobody stocks them or you just can't them? Btw, we have the same car blk v6 coupe ftw:thumbsup:. coupe_nasty 06-25-2009, 11:56 AM i love them! good taste my friend:thmsup: Denby 06-25-2009, 12:08 PM That's what I wasn't leaning towards, the Axis Elite....are you saying nobody stocks them or you just can't them? Btw, we have the same car blk v6 coupe ftw:thumbsup:. the 20's are out of stock(u can get the 19), won't be available until the next 8 next weeks and still not guaranteed to get em after that, they seem to be in high demand. Denby 06-25-2009, 12:12 PM My only gripe about your setup OP is that the car isn't low enough. WAYY too much wheel gap going on. wheel gap, are u serious man, well keep this in mind if u go for 20X10 with a eibach pro drop it will rub, anything lower u'll end up rolling hose fenders. mystick6 06-25-2009, 12:18 PM Not true. There are people on here with H&Rs which is lower that Pro Kit by .3 with 20x10, no fender rolling, no rubbing... Denby 06-25-2009, 12:21 PM Really, well then i was mis-informed then. Anyway perfect drop for me (each to their own) MSchu 06-25-2009, 12:35 PM and another one :banana: http://i543.photobucket.com/albums/gg461/denby_2009/Picture001.jpg Wow... those are some giant wheels and some tiny tires. still I like the style:thmsup: Gosha 06-25-2009, 12:51 PM I know to each his own, and jkcheng122 this isn't directed towards you directly. Why anyone would pay that much for a drop thats barely noticable I will never understand. Again, to each their own. Because not everyone can afford such a harsh ride. I LIKE the look of a slammer car, but will never attempt to do it to mine because its my daily driver. I dont know where you all work but i go to college in downtown Philly, even stock suspension makes you feel like your spleen is about to go out. I had eibachs on my previous cars and it was rough as is, i couldnt imagine how coils feel when slammed... In theory yes, its the right way to go, BUT only of you want to go low, anyone that gets coils will be dropped at least 2", thats not my thing, and i am young so dont think i am some old man. I just dont understand how some of you can drive with such low cars in the city (i mean city city, downtown and etc). If all you do is drive around in the burbs somewhere where roads are perfect and rainbows everywhere, well then its a totally different situation. dtraill27 06-25-2009, 12:52 PM i like them alot. they look good on the coupe starbai 06-25-2009, 12:55 PM Because not everyone can afford such a harsh ride. I hear ya boss, and that makes sense but in your situation I personally wouldn't do anything to the car. $900 for HFP for a drop that looks like nothing was done at all or at least you've gotta look REALL hard to notice it.... just doesn't seem worth it to me. Coilovers leave them on the softest setting, leave the drop at around 1.2-1.4 inches, and you can always lower in a few years when you're out of school. Coilovers does not equal automatic 2" drop. The highest setting isn't 2"s Gosha 06-25-2009, 01:00 PM Btw my comment was not towards the HFP kit, when i lower mine it will be eibach pros. But I do agree with the pricing, for what it is, its expensive, but at the same time if you have the dealer install it you are covered nighthawkcoupe 06-25-2009, 01:01 PM The wheels look amazing- I like the style a lot. How much did the eibach kit cost all together with installation? Denby 06-25-2009, 02:12 PM The wheels look amazing- I like the style a lot. How much did the eibach kit cost all together with installation? you can get the eibachs for like 200 bucks installation ab 150 Danielc409 06-25-2009, 02:50 PM I like these over axis elite ( which i think are ugly as hell ). Better choice with these. chaqui74 06-25-2009, 04:43 PM I like diffrent look . chaqui74 06-25-2009, 04:53 PM http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj15/chaqui74/mypictures006.jpg Not true.
