I meant on the coupe because I own a coupe and dont have door lights

Never understood why the coupe didn't have em' but the sedan does.

PErhaps the doors on the coupe being significantly larger, where the light would fall on the back of the door almost, wouldn't make much sense as it wouldn't really light up where you'd be stepping.

The coupe doesn't get a power passenger seat while the sedan does either. But that one makes sense at least (no power = easier to get in and out of the backseat)

You're asking on a public forum why corporate Honda didn't put door lights in our cars? :screwy:

Well i remember people asking on a public forum why corporate honda didn't put power passenger seats in the coupe... and we got some pretty good theories followed by a solid answer

guess thats what OP is looking for with this.

Please spare me the time of searching, but what was the solid answer we got? I remember one theory being so the seat could be moved forward faster for rear passenger access.

I really dont care if its there, or isnt, makes no difference to me. Most of the time foot lights are so dim, even after LED treatment its makes no difference to me

That was the solid answer I remember and made enough sense for me to stop wondering lol

That may be a solid answer but I can think of plenty other cars that have power passenger seats with equal or better access for the rear passengers. I remember the 3 series and CLK's have quick release seatbacks and auto-forward settings which works great. I know, those cars are more expensive then accord but I'm just saying having a manual seat doesn't necessarily mean easier access.

Doesn't really matter to me because I keep my interior lights off anyways when my doors are opened. Just seems more private that way.
