I've read a forum of some people questioning aftermarket projector headlights for the 2008 honda accord.

I currently drive an 08 accord sedan EX-L v6 and I'm bout to pick up a pair of these headlights and i was wondering if anyone out there has the same headlights as these. If so, can y'all give me some feedback/reviews on it?

thanks!

They look terrible and cheap. Besides the fact that people will make fun of you because these headlights imitate both BWM and AUDI, their black plastic interior is just nasty looking. Needless to say, that projector inside there is probably not made of high grade plastic optics.

Its your money, if you want to rice your car, get these.

EDIT: The Halo actually has a starting/ending point, wtf is that about? And the Audi "LED" Line is too spaced out. Man, at a second glance these are absolutely friggin terrible.

There should be a rule which forces new members to have at least 20 posts before they can create a new thread.

Just noticed, there is no high beams. Just low and turn signal.

Nope! It just has the low beam/high beam and a signal light. I guess the halo/LED is DRL. Yes, they look flimsy.

Definitely get retrofits if you could afford time without your headlights in your car.

as far as the lights are i dont think theyre so bad like everyone says... i own a pair and the high beams and low beams are there

"The shade may have a solenoid actuated pivot to provide both low and high beam — the shade is removed from the light path to create high beam, and placed in the light path to create low beam, and such optics are known as BiXenon or BiHalogen projectors, depending on the light source used. If there is no such arrangement, the cutoff shade is fixed in the light path, in which case separate high-beam lamps are required."
-- u can find that here

u can see pics of those lights on my car at the thread in my signature

I bought a pair of these headlights (chrome housing) on eBay. I was worried at first after reading a few post where everyone wrote about the high beam and the low lights output issues. But after I got it installed, it actually looks pretty good. I think it looks much better than stocks headlights. The low and high beam is there. And the lights these lamps put out is actually very bright. The only downside for these lights is the signal lights, I didn't like how the signal lights are in the centers instead on the sides. There is a yellow/amber light deflectors on the sides but they don't light up.

Haters are everywhere...

I think the black ones would look good with a smoke film applied. The Audi strip looks a bit tacky when viewed in detail but the smoked film should cover it up well when viewed during daylight.

I would like to do the retrofits on the headlights, but I don't have the time and skill for it. Plus I really don't wanna risk screwing up my stock headlights.

I'm keeping the original in the basement just in case something goes wrong with the aftermarket.:)
