There was a whole ordeal behind this car. First I live in Blacksburg,VA and for those that don't know, it's the home of the Hokies :). Anyway, I went to the dealership in Roanoke,VA and the salesman gave me price of 25,600 out the door. Well he called back later and left a voicemail on my cell. At the end of the voicemail he made some racial remarks towards my ethnicity. Needless to say I confronted the President/CEO of the dealership, went into a meeting with the GM of the dealership and they all of a sudden said they couldn't do the price and took the deal off the table. On top of that, the GM was defending the salesman by saying, "oh he was probably just trying to show off in front of the other salesman in the building." I contacted the local new and paper but they didn't do anything about it (I'm guessing that the dealership sponsors them). Regardless, I ended up driving about 250 miles to Fredericksburg,VA and finally I bought the car at the end of January and finally got a chance to get some pics.

If you still have the voicemail, I'd find some authority and crack down on this dealership. That is unacceptable and then to have the GM of the dealer and the local newspaper not do anything about it is just wrong. Find a way to get the word out and make them lose all sales from minorities.

hey guys, thanks a lot...sorry for the late post i was away on a business trip. Anyway, I tried getting the word out but nobody bothered to listen and I did file a complaint with Honda Corporate but I haven't heard a peep out of them since.

Yes it's my first attempt at an HDR pic, and it's auto. I figured that I have a black 97 civic DX still (my first car) and I changed that car from an auto to a manual and it also has a turbo on it so I didn't want another manual. Oh and so far... I LOVE my car.

I admit that your car in your pic looks better than mine...but you have to remember that I have a white car so it's already blown out and the other thing is look at the tree in your picture...kind of looks out of place...no?

Very nice car but what the hell is up with the dealership being racist? You def. need to bring some attention to that because that is unacceptable.
