We parked his 04 Civic Hybrid next to the new Hybrid, Honda crew had to keep pushing people away since it wasn't their car :lmao:

not so much a fan of the front end i don't think.... i like the back side of the sedan....

I'm not quite sold on the styling of the sedan - I think it's the saturnesque chrome grill - but I think the coupe looks pretty hot.

I just noticed the strange looking parking brake handle on the interior shot - Honda has definitely done some re-thinking of conventions with this redesign. :thmsup:

I still don't like the civic sedans.. Didn't like them ever since the '97 model.. the outside looks way too conservative and alien-like... The coupes were always nice looking.

The Civic is very interesting. I actually like the EX and SE sedans. There is one that lives by me that alsys looks very nice. The LX and DX look terrible in my opinion. I think it has to do with bigger wheels.

There is one picture that reminds me of a Chevy. Kind of scary!

It's not really growing on me either. The color combos are kind of ugly and the dash is made up of 5 or so pieces. Knowing Honda...can we hear rattles yet?

Also, I thought they should have put the tach on top instead of the speedo.

Honda's dash is always aimed towards "resposible driving" They're one of the first companies to put a "speedo for dummies" - sized speedometer right smack in the middle of the gauge pod (ala 6th gen accord). I like Porsche.. big tach in the middle, speedo with 30 MPH increments off to the side... .. Who cares how fast you're going as long as you know you didn't hit redline in 3rd. ;)

I love 'em both... very modern!!!

Did you get a look at the VIN? Just wondering where they are assembled. I believe some of the prev (7th?) gen civic is assembled in Canada (Alliston, ON) but I don't know if the new one is still being built there.
