If the info below is correct, many of us may no longer want to sit and wait before we sign up for the HondaCare extended warranty.

Anyone else hear about this?

Honda Announces Honda Care Plan Changes!

Because of your previous interest in Honda Care, we wanted to make you aware of impending changes to Honda Care plans which will go into effect on September 1st. If your Honda has more than 6,000 miles, you will be paying more for the same coverage and the current deductibles will be increased to $100. Many Honda owners that currently qualify for coverage will not qualify in September. This may be your last chance at any price!

I just bought a policy from http://www.hondacuraworld.com - a 4 cyl 7 years/ 100,000 "0 deductible" policy ran me $845 total (no tax either as I called out of state) :)

He would not say there is a price hike, but did confirm there are "changes" starting tomorrow.

I purchased mine last night from curryhonda. I did everything at hondaacuraworld, but turns out they have a shop in upstate to I was about to be charged tax. So I went to curryhonda it was $930 with no tax, or 900 with tax.
