I'm looking to upgrade the OEM brakes on my Pilot to high performance.
I considered Hawk brake pads. not sure if I want new rotors.
Acura TL/S brake size would be worth looking at?

What's your goal on going High Performance for the Pilot? I noted the other day in my wife's Pilot that the OEMs have remained rock solid the first year/27k miles...not even warping which I just about expect these days.
Was asking since the Pilot isn't exactly a high performance setup and the brakes may end up more trouble since they become more specialized in task. In other words, the drilled or slotted rotors eat the pads faster and the high performance pads don't lend themselves toward daily driving as well.
Just curious...good luck with the project.

the brakes on the pilots just such. i'm not sure if they fixed it with 06-08 models. But alot of people at hp.org have problems with them warping quickly and not being strong enough. I know the pilot has a brake boost (If I recall correctly), but it takes too much effort. In other words I have to push so far to get the brakes to work the way I want them to. Mabye i'm just used to my accord.
I mean I drove a sienna and the brakes are great on them.

Could not agree more. Well said.
