I'm trying to track down the origin of a rattle from the trunk/rear speaker area.

The rattle began on the way back from a 700 Mile round trip.

Seems to be in the center at or around the center subwoofer. Rattle occurs during several driving conditions, e.g. without radio on while going over seams in the pavement, without radio on hitting bumps, with radio on any time their is mild base.

Sounds like a vibration between two metal structures. I crawled around in the trunk while the car was stationary, but could not find anything.

Wife said she would drive around with me in the trunk, but hoping their are some ideas out there prior to her getting any ideas.

If its more like creaking, then this thread is for you http://www.driveaccord.net/forums/showthread.php?t=23629

if its a rattle, there are two TSB's out right now that might solve your problem. One for brake light and one for rear shelf. Search the TSB's.

dxerg3770 - Thanks for the response.

It is more like a rattle. Sounds like two pieces of metal rattling/vibrating against each other.

I will try to find the TSB (technical service bulletins?) for our auto - maybe this is something the dealer will fix or a little bit of foam shimmy or something from dynomat?

Ugh - where do I look to find the TSB files for my auto? I've tried to search the forum and site for the TSB's, but did not have any luck, so thanks for any help along those lines.
