hey guys i bought a hard wire kit for my escort x50 and i want to hard wire it to the fuse box.

the directions that were given are not clear. please help me.

Its him doing it on a 2007 Honda Civic and using a Beltronics radar detector but its the its no different with a Accord and Escort radar detector.

what i have is add a circuit from autozone...

so i have put the add a circuit fuse to the fusebox #1
and got the t-tap and squeezed against the red wire on the add a circuit.
the t tap connector is the main line to the radar detector but my radar would not turn on...

any clues?

Here's a thread that might help. remember you have to put 2 fuses in the add-a-circuit. you can't put 1 fuse with more wattage to run both.

right now my hard wire works.
i have the add a circuit fuse in #1 slot with 7.5amp and used t connetor to conect both red connections and the red connection that goes to my radar detector also has 10amp fuse in it... so im using 7.5 and 10 at same time.
