Hey all

Im not sure if this little trick has been posted on the forums before but il post it now.

You can roll your windows down from the outside of your car (i guess its for those hot days when you want to air your car out before you get in)

How to do it:

When you hit unlock button (key fob) on the car you will see the lights blink once, and then a second time. As they blink that second time HOLD down the unlock button and you will see the windows and sunroof open (you have to hold down the unlock button on the second blink until the windows and sunroof are all the way open.

To close them you can put the key in the driver side door and turn it to the right or left (i forget which way but you have to turn it one way way and again hold it in that position). You can also just go inside and roll them up that way like you normally would.

You tend to get better results with this if you are closer to the car than further away. Sometimes even if you hold down unlock on the second blink they will roll down half way and stop so you just have to repeat the process again. Sometimes if you are lucky you can just hold down the unlock button and it will roll them down (this doesn't usually work for me)

I don't believe this little trick is noted in the users manual either (i haven't read it though :P)

Try it out and enjoy! lemme know how it goes!

I have the EX-L I4 and a friend of the mine has the 06 EX v6, so i think it should work on all trim levels?

I found that if I put my car on a steep hill in neutral and release the parking brake, not just my windows, but my entire car will roll down.

Did you know that if you got out of your car on a steep hill & left it in gear the car would actually smash into something all by itself?

I didn't know this... thanks for the post... I didn't see the other thread either...

And to everyone else... he is just trying to help people who might not know about this feature. I don't think you guys should discourage him from posting again. Next time, he may figure out something that one of us needs to know, but may not post because of all these negative comments. There have been 100's of posts for rims, offsets and stuff... but no one says anything about those! Ease up on the guy.

haha yeah i felt bad for my comment earlier.. he meant to share some info and meant well..and I think everyone is just having fun and not really attacking or poking fun at the OP personally. Anyways thanks OP for trying to share and I guess there still are a few people that dont know this becuase they are too lazy to read the owners manual

I actually didn't know that. That's pretty cool, although it's annoying as hell. If it was soothing like BMW's chimes are on their newer cars, I wouldn't mind. But Honda's just beep away.
