This is my 2005 Accord coupe V6-6MT Navi.

This thread will be some places to show some pictures as my car progresses. I bought it about a month ago, completely stock, with 44,000 miles. Since purchasing it, I have put on about 2500 miles, mostly highway.

I started my mods by purchasing a K&N typhoon intake. I currently have it configured for the short ram intake. If I want I can also use the extension and have a cold air intake. It sounds really good, and I did notice a slight performance increase.

I then put some tint I bought off ebay on. 35% front, 20% rear. I really like the look so I'm going to have it replaced with professional tint.

I also picked up some used 2004 Acura TL rims. I will put them on once I get some new tires for them. They are 17x8, +45 offset. I'm going to put 245/45/17 Falken Azenis on them. These will be strictly summer/track tires for autocrossing.

That's it for now.

Future mods:
Redo Tint
Paint calipers (color?)
TL rear sway bar
iPod adaptor

Welcome to the DA family! :salue: :dude:

Very nice man. I think tint will definitely improve the car (I have 35/20), and I think the TL rims will look pretty good. What are your future plans? Body kit, drop? (That V6 badge looks way far over w/o the "Accord" above it, IMO)

Thanks. Actually when I bought the car the "A" from Accord was broken off so it just said "ccord". I decided to take the rest of it off. I haven't decided if I'll put a new accord emblem on or take the V6 off.

I was pretty impressed with myself as far as how the side window tint turned out, but the back window is definitely best left to a professional.

I forgot to mention that my previous car was a 1995 Acura integra. I was able to take the 6000k hid's and blue 9005 bulbs out of it and put them in this car. I didn't realize how well the integra handled until I started driving this car. So my main mod's for this are going to be improving the handling. I don't have enough money to go all out, so I'll probably just do the rear sway bar for now.

If I do anything for the body it would be an OEM front lip. I would like to get some fogs for the front too. Maybe some interior footwell lighting. An exhaust....etc.

Yeah, the front lip really looks good on the 7th Gen. I think it'll look good once you can get to all the mods.

Ugh, the tint is an eyesore. Besides that car looks nice, but take the v6 or put it in the right spot IMO. For you DYI guys, you must get the window moist/wet and use a squeegee to push out the bubbles.

Yeah, it was my first attempt at tinting of any sort. I am going to get it redone professionally. For $30 I figured it was worth a shot to save $200.

The V6 emblem is in the same place it came from the factory.

Thank goodness you're leaving your 6 speed wheels on for daily use. I've never like the way the Tl wheels look (GASP) although many people rock them on their 7th gens. They're too chunky for my tastes. Looking good so far. Where in Iowa are you?

Tint looks good for the first try! I guess the missing accord badge is throwing off my prospective.

I'm indifferent on the rear spoiler. If it was on there already, I'd keep it. Since its not, I'm not going to go buy and install one.

K&N intake pictures. I really like the K&N typhoon intake.
