Lately on my 95 Accord EX Sedan, I have noticed that I hear my ABS pump more and more while driving. Typically, I would hear it after a cold start and that would be it for the day. Now, I hear it after each start, and sometimes while driving.
The ABS warning light does come on after several miles.
Any ideas?

Sounds like you might have a leak somewhere (just a guess) in the system. Check the fluid level in the ABS pump, and bleed it. You can also search for the procedure for retrieving trouble codes from the ABS computer, which will tell you for sure what is causing the light to come on.

I don’t know if this will help at all, but I just got my 96 Accord back from having the ABS warning light come on. I did not have any sounds coming from the ABS pump though. My problem was one of the ABS sensors had failed. Cost of a new sensor was 192 pounds sterling, total charge for diagnostics and two hours fitting, 375.
I don’t know what your mechanical experience is, but if its anything like mine, I’d get a professional mechanic to look at it as soon as possible.
Good luck, and I hope any repairs don’t dent your wallet too much!

Ou chot:
I ditto with previous posts.
Have your ABS sensors checked. A faulty signal (from any wheel) will cause erratic pump operation and activate your MIL (Malfunction Indicator Lamp).
Run a test to see if you have any DTCs (Diagnostical Trouble Codes).
I will also urge you to take corrective action immediately, as it involves a critical safety system. Defective brakes are yet another way to commit suicide. And threaten the life and property of others on the road.

I'd suggest checking the sensors, but also flushing the brake fluid.

We're kind of digging up an old thread here, but since it's back from the dead, if a wheel sensor isn't working right (and I had one that wasn't) that will shut the system down. When the car starts, the pump will run to pressurize, and the light will go out, but as soon as you start driving it, and the computer realizes that one of the senors isn't giving the proper signal, the light will come on, and the system will shut down, so there will be no more pump activation.
