So my thoughts are for a summer blowout accord meet. For you guys from dallas,san antonio, and the austin area. Figure we shall start out around 11-12 a.m. at the park at nasa rd in houston. Its a pretty good size park with lots of bbq pits. We will have a BBQ for lunch and take some pics until about 2-3. We will then drive over to the kemah boardwalk which is about a 20minute drive. They will have live bands,amusement rides,boat rides,shopping galore. My vote would be for labor day weekend because they will have a lot more going on at the boardwalk. What are your guys thoughts?

Just a heads up. You might want to shoot for the August date. The next CupCakeMeet is looking to be early in September in Austin and another one late September for Dallas. With the growing numbers that have been attracted to these meets, you might find it difficult to attract people if it's on the same date as one of these. Just thought I would let you know.

mike i think this one is in houston since so it shouldn't be a problem.
ive been to kemah boardwalk once..it was so coo..pretty sure theres a great place up there to shoot pictures as well.

Yeah thanks for the info.But from everyone ive been talking to it looks more like the best date would be the 12th. Just trying to get some more interest before I make the date.

:lmao: Last time I was in Houston I went down to Kemah boardwalk...what a mistake...not only had it just rained but it was about 98deg...so 98deg 98% humid....ICK miserable

Unfortunately I'm way busy at work for the rest of the year and will probably not try to make a Houston trip. Shame too I'd come down watch the Astros and look at cars :thmsup:

Well if thats the case come on down. Come hang out eat some BBQ take some pictures then catch the game. Astros VS Pitsburgh starts at 7:05 p.m. 9-12-09. Which is what the date for the meet is going to be.:thmsup:

Aug 25th is when school starts here. Some of the parents will be extra busy!
From your dates, the 12th looks the best.
We haven't made it to the boardwalk yet. One of those things we talk about & it seems like life gets in the way. :dunno: He used to work almost right there (45 & Nasa Rd.)
The equal air temp & humidity is wonderful! :D 98 & raining is great!!:thmsup: Not too good for showing off your "purdy" car though.
