As far as I know, there are no kits that give you larger rotors with mount adapters for the gen 7. If you find any, I'd like to know. This is for the front. There was a place (fastbrakes) that had a kit for larger rears with adapters using the stock rotors.

If you have an auto trans, you can go with 6 speed rotors, but this will need the 6 speed calipers.

Without increasing pad size as well what is the purpose of larger rotors? Seems to me you would have the same braking surface area as well as possibly increasing unsprung weight.

so sounds like i should just get cross drilled and slotted with some nice ceramic pads

Cross drilled , slotted etc. are a waste. Get a nice set of Brembo blanks and a set of Hawk or EBC pads.

I was thinking the same thing. The only thing I could see is that you do have a larger area to dissipate heat.

But other than that it does seem like a waste.

Agreed. From what I've researched, there really isn't a need for the slotted or cross drilled rotors unless you've got a vehicle that really would need them (i.e. might be something you'd want on a Porsche GT or an Indy car, but not an Accord).

I just put Centric Premium Rotors and EBC Green Stuff on my Accord and they are, thus far, excellent. I considered the Brembo rotors and might try them out next time to see what if any difference I can discern (other than price).

What everyone above said, plus this: If you want to stop faster, get grippier tires. The weak link in stopping your car is tire adhesion. Everyone in this forum can either lock up the wheels or activate the ABS with factory brakes. Bigger rotors will not only not stop you faster, they'll decrease handling, acceleration, and mpg compared to OEM.

From what I've researched, there really isn't a need for the slotted or cross drilled rotors unless you're into aesthetics or consistently drive your car at 10/10ths, and even then. . . .

:D Good addition/edit to my post. Aesthetics and/or super hard driving are also good reasons
