Starting in early-December, American Honda will be offering the Honda Music Link as an accessory for the all-new 2006 Civic.



The Honda Music Link enables the driver to plug in their Apple iPod for a direct interface to their vehicle audio system.



Some of the features and benefits of the Honda Music Link:



Charges iPod battery while connected to the Honda Music Link
iPod digital audio through vehicle sound system, not FM modulated
Full Honda factory warranty, 3 years/36,000 miles


In addition, the Honda Music Link will be the first system to offer synthesized audio voice feedback when using the vehicle audio system to search for artist name, album title, genre, or play list on your iPod.



Suggested retail pricing for this Honda Music Link will be approximately $250, not including dealer installation charge.

The MDX forum discussed the use of a direct linkage that you use rca jacks to connect your ipod to your radio. It's called Blitzsafe .

You all probably knew this too: there's now Civics with Navi. Also the Pilot is now got both 2WD & 4WD models!

Wow, I didn't see this thread. I already opened another one.

I've heard that it works on the TSX and TL, so does anyone think it will work on Accord?

There is a high chance of it working on Accord if it works on TSX but I can't tell for sure.

Princess, can you find out how different the TSX and Accord's audio systems are?

Sooner, Blitzsafe works, but it disables XM. I want to keep XM and so far Blitzsafe has been dragging their feet in releasing an XM compatible adapter.

I don't have access to Acura stuff..... :dunno: They keep it separate. I don't have any passwords for theirs.

If prince comes across any and tries it in an Accord, please let us know!! I want one of these for my car but I am not sure if it will work or not.

Theoretically since it works with the TSX it should work with the Accord, but I dunno... :dunno:
