Has anyone installed the Alpine IVA-D106 system into their car?

I was just wondering because I was browsing for some detailed installation instructions for the 2004 accord coupe v6.

dont own one, but installed many.

what questions you got?

Do you already own the unit? if not I would recommend going with a double din unit instead. Flip out screens are nice, but not in our cars. You will not like a flip out down below, and the metra kit that replaces the oem radio and HVAC is junk IMO.

I haven't bought the unit but I wanted to know what I would be getting myself into before I considered buying. I am not sure I will wont to because of the price and I am a poor college kid.

The reason why I considered it was because I like the GPS, plus video, Ipod, and satelight radio. I have XM ready on my 2004 Accord coupe, but I wanted to go with Serius because there have been alot of problems going with the half off deal with XM. Alot of people have been getting some nasty suprises once they signed up based on other forums I read and consumer complaints.

I was not saying don't get that unit, I was just suggesting that you go with a Double Din version. :)
