I got my amp in 2 days ago and have it temporarily installed for now... so basically there's the power and remote wires running from the battery to the firewall, all along the drivers side door through the back seats to the amp. And the trunk where the amp is is a wire jungle right now... I have a couple of questions:
How do I pry up the drivers side door sill (2005 Accord sedan) and get the wires under the carpet?
Whats the best way to conceal the power wire from the battery? Shud I just tape it up along the side?
Where should I mount the actual amp unit? I have the all weather tray in the back and the sides aren't straight enough to mount an amp. Can I mount it on the back seat somehow? Suggestions would be great!

If the door sill is the same as past accords (I would confirm this with Princess, I have only had my new one for a couple months!) you should be able to take a flathead screwdriver (Wrap the end in tape to protect your paint!) and gently get upder the lip and pry it up, it snaps in with some heavy duty snaps. Once that is up, the carpet clips onto the frame underneath.
I ran a CD changer from my trunk to the head unit in my 98 accord, it was pretty easy to get under the carpet once you get the sills up, just pry REALLY carefull!!!

I ran the wires to my amp under the dash and through the center console. It's really easy to take apart. I found step by step directions at HandAaccessories.com. Just pull up some of the instructions for the various accessories and you'll find the ones that tell how to take apart the dash and console.
As for mounting the amp, I had the same problem. I didn't want to mount mine to the back of the rear seat because I still occaisionally use the fold down seat. I ended up mounting my amp to the sub box itself and just suspending the wires to it using wire ties - leaving enough slack for the box to slide around a bit without breaking the wires.
If your amp is for your full-range speakers and not a separate sub, I have no suggestions to offer for the mounting location. There aren't any large flat surfaces in the trunk to mount one to.

Probably a no-brainer, but make sure you use an in-line fuse at the battery end...otherwise you can (and likely will) start a fire in case of a short.

I'd actually go with a circuit breaker. I'm using a 25A circuit breaker made by Stinger for my amp. A blade type fuse at the very least using a heavy duty fuse holder.
FWIW, my amp fits nicely under the driver seat (I have a 2001 Accord) with the wires basically running down the center console/hump.
Because the air ducting is also under the seat for the backseat passengers, I had to add a bend in the ducting so it wasn't blowing hot air directly onto the amp during the winter time. :D
I also learned (the hard way) that when I removed the seat (without first disconnecting the battery) that it tripped the SRS light and I had to figure out how to reset it (not mentioned in the Helm and the owners manual says to take the car to the dealership to have it checked and reset).
Figured out how to reset it - gotta love Google!
